After reading all the reviews we tried to stop by for lunch last week but there apparently was a fire and the restaurant is closed.
Staff was very knowledgeable, dedicated friers, and food was delicious!! Highly recommend for even super sensitive Celiac’s!!!

Very friendly staff and they can make almost everything gluten free on their menu and it’s cooked on gluten free cooking equipment. Hard finding places that respect gluten free and this place takes the cake on that. Looks like a dump but it’s one of those quality hole in the wall joints.
Having Celiac makes it hard to find a restaurant with gluten free options plus the fear of getting sick. What a pleasure it was having a waitress knowledgeable. I had the Philly sandwich on gf hoggie bun with sweet potato fries. Fantastic!!!

Extremely knowledgeable! Owner (Celiac) came out to the table & chatted with us... even shared her products! Great atmosphere!

AMAZING! I saw the reviews and had to see it for myself. When I drove up I was a bit skittish but the staff were excellent, the food was great and cheap, even a really tasty dessert brought out by the Celiac in residence. My waitress was the best, super enthusiastic and knew the menu inside and out. I will always return when I'm in town! I had the Cabernet burger (so good!), sweet potato fries (yum!), and the chocolate-on-chocolate-on-chocolate dessert

The staff was amazing at explaining all of the options available. Ace Pineapple Cider and Sandwiches - amazing!! Highly suggest!!

Absolutely outstanding! Waitress very knowledgeable about celiac disease and the chef came out personally and discussed options with my husband pertaining to the menu! He had the meal of his dreams which included French fries! Absolutely not glutened! We will definitely be making this our lunch and dinner spot in the future!!
I have eaten here multiple times. Lots of GF options, very knowledgeable staff (owner is Celiac) and food is quality. Fun atmosphere being in a converted barn- gives a unique feel. Wait can be long to receive your food after ordering sometimes if they are somewhat busy (45 mins), but worth the wait. Relax and know that you are in excellent, Celiac-safe hands.
Yes
The staff is very friendly. The waiter’s father had Celiac. They did not have gluten free menu. My daughter had a ribeye and French fries. They had 2 gluten free deserts. I was told they make desert without a crust whenever the mother makes desert. My daughter did not eat because she didn’t like flavors.

I have gluten allergy and am super sensitive, eating out is hard! The Barn is like a sanctuary for celiac or those with allergies because they have a dedicated area and fryer for gf. It’s amazing food. This is one of the only restaurant s where I have never got sick. Plus I get fries :)

Excellent find. In the middle of nowhere, but only 15 min from Wisconsin Dells. We ate on Sunday night and no one else was there. We were worried, but the food was great. We had the ribs and fries(in a dedicated fryer) with a salad bar. Service was good. They have New Grist beer too!!
Yes
The owners mother has celiac disease so the wait staff is very knowledgeable! We loved the food we had.

So happy to eat and not have to worry about getting "glutened". Only one waitress was working during a very busy lunch but the wait was well worth the peace of mind. I will definitely be back!
Yes
The staff was very knowledgeable about items in the menu that could be made gluten free. They have a dedicated fryer and assured me they are very careful when it comes to food preparation. I had a prime rib and cheddar sandwich and sweet potato fries... Delicious! They also have several gluten free beer options!

We were excited to find a place with so many gluten free options but it was a horrible experience. We had to wait over 45 minutes for the food with no explanation of why it was taking so long and no one checked on us. We were not told the noodles were handmade which is what they told us was the hold up. They were terrible. Very rubbery. My daughter asked for a substitution of sides and they did not tell us there would be a $5 charge. And my husband's and my meals were not that good either. Service was so slow. The only reason it got any stars is that they do have a large selection and the sweet potato fries were amazing.
Yes
One word - AMAZING! Owner' mother is celiac so that should tell you how knowledgeable everyone is. I'm GF and lactose intolerant and they had no problem accommodating me. Separate cooking pans and dedicated fryer for both regular fries and sweet potatoes fries. I was initially leery by the look of the building but this is a must place to eat! Matt the Manager was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks Matt for a great experience!

Extremely knowledgeable. I felt very safe. I didn't have to explain everything. Simply told them I was Celiac and they explained all the good I could eat and how they handle it.
Yes
Don't judge a book by its cover. Lots of options and staff knows what they are doing and talking about. Was told they are very careful with preventing cross contamination. Food is really good. Did not get sick and I react easily and quickly. Dedicated gluten free fryer

Exceptionally helpful staff and celiac friendly kitchen. Definitely worth stopping here
Good menu, good food. Definitely Celiac friendly!
Yes
I felt totally safe, very good gf menu... will be back again
Best gluten free menu I've ever seen, owner has celiac and can make anything on the menu(minus one or two things) GF- also, many options for buns/bread, pasta, fries and large "safe" alcohol menu.
Hands down the best gf restaurant visit we have ever had! Cook came and spoke to us directly and explained our options and expressed their efforts to provide us a carefully prepared gf meal

Amazing. The most educated staff we have found yet. Put us at ease so quickly that we didn't have to question anything. Unique atmosphere but a little short staff which the great food made up for (so many choices). A little pricey for lunch but worth it to see my daughter happy and wanting to go back again immediately. Would recommend and will go back. Just 10-15 min from the dells parks.
Yes
Ahhhmazing! They have a dedicated GF fryer and GF hoagie buns, burger buns and pasta. They also offered us creme brûlée and had 2 options of crustless cheesecake. The "resident mom" is celiac and they really understand cross-contamination. We stopped in after 6 hours in the vehicle and couldn't have been happier with the pleasant service we received. We live 2 hours away and we are discussing when we will be able to come back!

Very surprising and accommodating menu with so many options that are absolutely delicious! Knowledgable staff and fun atmosphere too! Will definitely be back -- can't go wrong with eating here!

What a delightful surprise to find a gluten-free and knowledgeable about everything having to do with gluten-free. The shrimp alfredo was delicious too!

We drove 61 miles one way to go this place and I have to say if i wish it was a lot closer to where i live. By far the best gluten free meal ive ever had at a bar/restaurant. Was a busy day and the owner took the time to make sure we knew everything that was on the menu we could have. Took the time to explain how have a dedicated fryer and knew difference between gluten free and crafted to remove gluten! Had a wonderful kids menu for my two boys. Every chance we get we will be back here to eat!!!!!
Yes
VERY accommodating to Celiacs! Very few items on the menu you can't have. I will be back!

We had a hockey tournament at the Baraboo Ice Arena and this was literally down the street from the rink. Food was fantastic! WAFFLE FRIES...need I say more!?! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with ordering. Food was delicious. (My 9 y.o. thought it was neat to be eating in a barn).
Yes
Best place! Food was delicious, staff was extremely knowledgeable as one has Celiacs. Great restaurant and highly recommend!
Server was ho-hum. She seemed to be on autopilot. It was a little disappointing after the glowing reviews here. Food was average, but at least they had knowledge of GF food and handling it, and extensive GF options.
Yes
This place is great. The owner (Linda?) personally talked us through the menu options. They are very friendly and knowledgeable and the food is delicious!!

If you want to be sure, this is the place to go within a 30 (maybe 60) mile radius. Owners are very aware of what gluten-free means and they don't use common grills, tools, or fryers.Plus, the food is really good at a great price and there are tons of of good beers on tap.
This is one of the best restaurants in the county and the fact that offers truly gluten-free dishes is just a bonus.
Yes
This is a great place to go if you are gluten free! The owner has Celiac and goes out of her way with buns (including hoagie rolls) and homemade cheesecake (no crust). If you are near the dells you should go here and support them.
Yes
Excellent service. Knowledgable waitress who went out of her way to provide a great GF experience. Food was good. Prices very affordable. We will return.

Excellent food and definitely worth going off the beaten path! GF hoagie roll for my French dip, GF buns for burgers. Owner came out and spoke with us regarding her own gluten intolerance and pan-fried us regular and sweet potato fries in fresh oil. Great meal and great service!!
