We've dined her quite a bit with our celiac daughter. She's had the GF pizza, GF parmesan chicken and pasta, Chicken Caesar salad without croutons, and GF Carrot cake.
I, personally, am not a fan of the food here taste wise. Every dish could use more seasoning and the salad are so basic.
However, my daughter has eaten safely here every time.
They have several gluten free items on the menu, including a gluten free section on the Kids Menu. The manager came to our table to talk with us in advance and then spoke with the kitchen. My 5 year old loved the kids Mac n cheese. They also had gluten free bread, but it was hard and didn't taste great.
I was so excited that my takeout order, a burger, came in packaging labeled with stickers that said gluten free.
The bun looked too good to be true and I was newly diagnosed with celiac disease. I ate it assuming it was a really good GF bun.
I was so sick hours later and I’m so much pain.
I called the next day to ask what company the gf buns are and they said “Udi’s”. I always have Udi’s rolls in my freezer so I knew that the roll I had eaten the night before was clearly not GF and I had been glutened.
I was so sad because of all the positive reviews but it was my fault for not calling them that night and sending it back..
This was July 2022.
UPDATE 2023
They wronged me again :( this time I had a gluten free Buffalo chicken sandwich that was definitely safe and deff had the Udi’s roll… but I asked for a side salad and LOL it had croutons on it. So the salad was packaged separetly and I gave it to someone else to eat but WTF?!?
I ordered the gluten free chicken parm. Usually it comes breaded with gluten free bread crumbs but all I got was a boiled piece of chicken with a handful of breadcrumbs thrown on top that were all soggy and mush. There were also some penne in my pasta that had lines on them while the rest did not. I asked the waitress about this and she brought it back to the kitchen and the manager went in the kitchen and was yelling and then came back with a new plate and apologized. Not careful at all about food allergies
Great experience! Asked for a Gluten free menu before we were seated which had a large variety of choices on it. The waiter brought over gluten free rolls which I didnt like but it was nice that they even had them as an option so I wont knock off points. Will definitely be going back 😀
As soon as the waitress saw the gluten free menu in front of me, she brought me gluten free bread. After ordering, a manager came to our table to assure me that she had spoken to the kitchen to ensure there wouldn't be any cross contamination. They have an extensive GF menu which includes several mixed drinks and GF beer. They made me very comfortable.
I needed a pizza for a birthday party last minute, and the staff was accommodating. Separate utensils and the pizza is cooked in its own tray (looks like Against the Grain, but I didn't ask). It cost about $12.00.
I would give 5 stars for being gluten free but the food needs work. the pasta was under done and the chicken parm was dry. this place is amazing for people who need gluten free 10 years ago but in today's world of accommodating restaurants it left a lot to be desired.
The pasta with veggies and chicken was outstanding. They even had gf bread. The pasta was cooked just right and has a great texture. I asked what company makes the pasta and was told, Heartland. We will definately go again.
GF menu has several good choices including pasta. Manager always comes over to verify order. In the several times we have been there, we only had a problem once with a waitress who had not been properly trained and tried to give us regular pasta. But the manager stepped in and ensured we received the right GF meals. Definitely on our list of top places to dine.
great food and atmosphere. Manager verified my order and staff was very professional. food was tasty and portions were generous. I can't wait to have the brownie!
food came out with a plate on top for safety, but i was a little freaked out when my parm had crumbs when it used to be “naked” chicken years ago (had not been in a while). mediocre quality, didnt eat much from my meal - gave it to my brother. wouldn’t choose to go back, personally!
