My son was really happy to be able to go to a greek place with gluten free pitas and calamari, they know about Celiac and understand cross contamination as the owners are also Celiac. the food was amazing, it is one of our favourite greek restaurants and a must go when visiting Ottawa

I read these reviews and decided to give it a shot, and I’m so glad I did! The menu doesn’t list any GF items, but our server (whom I assume is the owner’s daughter) has Celiac and knows what is safe and what isn’t. She even brought out the GF pita bread packaging so I could check for soy flour. The Greek fries are amazing and my pork pita was incredible. The bread didn’t fall apart either! Would definitely return.

Last Saturday, my family and I made the decision to embark on a road trip from Montreal to Ottawa in search of some delicious Greek food. We had been yearning for this cuisine for the past six years and, after reading rave reviews, our excitement was at an all-time high.

In our family, two of us have Celiac disease, so finding a restaurant that caters to our dietary restrictions is always a top priority. We were thrilled to discover that the restaurant we visited not only provided extraordinary food, but also offered a completely safe environment for those with Celiac disease.

The food itself was beyond our expectations. The flavors were incredible, the portions were generous, and every dish was made to perfection. It truly felt like a gourmet experience.

Aside from the outstanding food, we were also blown away by the amazing service we received. The owner of the restaurant went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their customers was truly phenomenal.

We left the restaurant with our hearts full and a longing for this exact dining experience in Montreal. We sincerely hope that the owner considers expanding their business to our city, as we would love to have such a fantastic establishment close by.

Our server was celiac herself! Pretty much everything could be made gluten free, even the pitas, which were soft and pliable and every bit as good as a gluten one. The food is absolutely delicious and incredibly affordable, especially considering the price of things lately. I'm very sensitive and had no reaction. Highly recommend!

This is a family owned restaurant and two of the family members have celiac - including our waitress! So they are very knowledgeable and are happy to answer any questions you might have. They have made everything very safe, including a gf fryer and prep areas. Everything is gf except the filo pastries and the desserts. They even offer gf pitas. Everything was delicious! Will definitely be going back soon!

Oct. 22 '22. I went for lunch here for the first time today and I am overjoyed at having found this place. The food was amazing, the service was amazing and sooo delicious!! I had the gf chicken pita sandwich platter, which came with a huge plate of salad, potatoes and rice and a side of tzatziki. Miles' service was amazing! Absolutely wonderful authentic Greek food and totally celiac safe. We came from Montreal and have high standards when it comes to greek cuisine. I felt so safe and the chefs wife and daughter are celiac and when he opened decided to keep everything celiac safe.

I highly recommend. Very high quality ingredients and it feels like home cooking at restaurant quality. Do not be intimidated by the small look of the restaurant. It’s a hidden gem and it’s worth the trip 💕 🥗 My non celiac husband adored his food also. And it was so cool to be able to share!! I had the chicken skewer platter and he had the filet minon (which was so good). Both with rice salad and greek potatoes. We loved everything :) the only issue was that we left stuffed :)))

Been going there for years and years. Amazing food and wonderful family who owns and operates the place. They’re *extremely* knowledgeable from their own personal experience about celiac and very sensitive to any allergy requests. There is GF pita and GF beer! I’m not sure (I haven’t actually looked at their menu in ages because I know it by heart at this point) if the GF items are explicitly marked on the menu. However I was recently in there and chatting with the cook/owner about my new celiac diagnosis and he said that anything that doesn’t explicitly contain flour (appetizer “pies” like spanakopita and desserts like cookies) are ok. Just ask the staff who are SUPER knowledgeable. It’s a small and very friendly place. You’ll LOVE it! Try the Greek fries!

The food and service were incredible! I ordered a gf pita and a chicken souvlaki platter, both were delicious and authentic! The gf items aren't marked on the little printout they had in store, but they were online and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My boyfriend (non-gf) even tried to order a gluten dessert and the chef came out frantically trying to tell us that it was not safe - because we had already ordered gf for everything else. Highly recommend!!

Incredible! One of the employees is celiac herself and so the restaurant has excellent gf protocols. I got the gyro plate with dolmades, which I would definitely recommend! If you like greek food you have got to go here! Owners daughter has celiac so he knows the drill with cross contamination. Staff are knowledgable about celiac. They have a dedicated frier and serve gf fried calamari! All of the platters are gluten free except the sausage. They also have gluten free pita for wraps. I reccomend the plates - servings are huge and its reasonably priced. Food was delicious, I will be back.

Amazing food! All of the platters are GF and they offer GF pita for the wraps! They sometimes have gluten free deserts by the cash but they use the same set of tongs so I would avoid those if you’re celiac. Other than that, I’ve never had an issue and eat here very often!
