The waiter asked the manager to join us when I wanted to ask questions about the menu and cross contamination practices. Most of the menu is capable of being made gluten free. The manager recommended the entire table be gluten free. The other option would be for me to scoop the cheese fondue on my plate before others dipped in. They brought out the GF bread so the rest of the party could taste it before agreeing to eat an entirely GF meal. It was quite good, so the manager looked up the brand for me. The cheese fondue was made with GF beer and cornstarch. A few meat items (teriyaki) were off limits. I was told to order without the croutons and nuts on the salad. I didn’t try the chocolate, but it was apparently fabulous on the fruit. And I’m not sick!

The service and staff were awful. I told my server that I had celiac and a severe gluten allergy twice before ordering, and he reassured me that he’d make note of it. We had 5 different severs in the course of one hour and twice they brought out their regular wheat bread.. when I told them I had a gluten allergy they looked at me like they had no idea and then brought out the gluten free plate. Had I not brought it up, I would’ve gotten sick. I understand that people make mistakes, but to make the mistake twice in one meal when it’s a serious allergy is a little ridiculous. The melting pot prides themselves on their ability to provide for gluten allergies, but this location is nothing like the other locations we’ve been to. We will not be returning.

We had an amazing Mother’s Day dinner at Melting Pot. They now have gluten free bread for the cheese course. They had gf cookies and brownies to dip in the chocolate fondue. Our waitress was well versed in cross contamination. They were willing to adjust for other food intolerances and likes. There was a sticker on the front door announcing that it was a validated gluten free safe spot. We felt safe and normal eating there.
Staff was super knowledgeable about celiac, gf options clearly marked. I’m super sensitive and had no reaction. All the food was great!

First time eating here. It was a wonderful experience. The waiter was so good. Everything was so good. The only thing was when we had dessert I only ate the fruit dipped in the chocolate. Took the gluten free brownies and snickerdoodle’s home with me. I ate them the next day and I did get sick after I had ate them. Would still recommend them but not the cookies and brownies. And would go back again but just avoiding the brownies and snickerdoodle’s.

Never on my radar, BUT I read an article by Gluten Free Dad about how it is Gluten free safe spot certified by an independent company. We were surprised at how well versed the employees were the variety offered. So far no one has gotten sick. Everything is brought/made in front of you by you and everything was labeled on the menu. The dessert was the best! GF brownie and cookie that weren’t hard as a rock. I doubled checked with the waitress every time and she wasn’t annoyed by my questions!

The waiter was extremely knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. Almost all of the cheeses could be made gluten-free, they had gluten-free bread to dip in the cheese, and gluten-free brownies and snickerdoodles to dip in the chocolate. Amazing experience and didn’t get sick!
