We called first to understand the GF options and ask about the fryer. The staff was knowledgeable about CC protocols and advised that the fryer was not dedicated and they recommended mashed potatoes or fingerlings instead. Three of us have Celiac. We had the Southwest Chicken Salad and two kids burgers with fruit. The burger buns were soft and burgers were flavorful. Salad was great with lots of toppings and well done chicken. We did not ask about the pizza or pasta protocols bit they were on the menu and labeled.

We enjoyed The OC as the restaurant was big and airy with lots of light. There is a pretty view of the water. I ordered a yummy Power Salads with grilled chicken, green chickpeas ( never seen those before), arugula, orange bell peppers, kale, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and a side of creamy avocado dressing. My husband enjoyed the local beer and pizza. Dave was our server and we would definitely return.

I have celiac disease. This restaurant is very accommodating. Numerous items on the menu are gluten-free or can be made gluten-free. I shared the caramelized brussels sprouts appetizer with the table and everyone loved them… Amazing! My meal was pizza on a gluten-free crust. They placed the pizza on a tray for me so it would not go on the stone with the other pizzas. Even though there was an up-charge for the gluten-free crust, the pizza was regular size! I was not expecting that. Usually they are much smaller/personal size. So lots of leftovers. The pizza crust was thicker than most gluten-free crusts. (I’d like either.) Other items such as steaks, fish and salmon, sandwiches on gluten-free buns, and salads can be made gluten-free. The wait staff was very knowledgeable. I thought the food was delicious and I will be back.
