Amazing! Make the trip. Busy little spot, not a ton of seating but it’s cozy. They have a dedicated fryer, and the fries serving is enormous! Everything was so good, bonus a yummy $2.50 gf bun.

Great experience here. The owner was kind and told me exactly what was gluten free. GF fryer so fries were safe, as well as GF gravy. He loaded up my brisket poutine - it was so good! I recommend this place to anyone - celiac or not.

We have been to The Pit several times now and always a fabulous experience. The owner is so kind and funny and definitely the best part. I love their gluten free buns with any of their BBQ meats. I am glad they offer a gf poutine also and it really hits the spot. I feel great about their knowledge and attempts at avoiding cross contamination. We will be back soon!

They are very knowledgeable about Celiac Disease. They have a dedicated fryer, gluten free pans and cooking utensils etc. It is a VERY SAFE place to eat

Owner was very knowledgeable about cross contamination. They use a separate cutting board for gluten free food. They have gluten free buns/bread listed. All the meat is gluten free with exception to the ribs which beer is spread on. The bbq sauce used is also gluten free.

Not gluten free, but very gluten aware with a dedicated fryer. Had a sandwich, fries and just meat with no reaction at all. Awesome find and only a few minutes off the highway if you are travelling by. I placed our order over the phone.

Staff are well aware of GF cross contamination. They have a separate fryer for GF although it may take a small amount longer to heat it up.....not a problem in my books. Service was great. I had pulled pork sandwich with GF bun and girlfriend had Brisket Poutine. Excellent flavour and portions!

The fries were awesome! I wish they had gf chicken gravy, as I cant eat beef or pork. But hey, we are all use to eating dry food right, lol You have to tell them you need gf fries fries.

The owner of the pit wanted to make most of the meats, gravy etc. gluten and dairy free for customers. the poutine was delicious and I did not get sick!
