They recently changed their menu and no longer have GF items designated, 'because some foods were marked incorrectly'. You now have to ask the server to point out individual items, and their menu now has a disclaimer that 'not all ingredients are listed'. They served me shrimp with red curry flavoring (not sauce) with a balsalmic reduction on top - the balsalmic was not listed on the dish, and is commonly NOT gluten free due to additives. I had to ask the server about the sauce once I tastedthe dish... will report back if I was glutened from it!
I would not visit this or their other 'sister restaurants' again, as it is not at all intolerance friendly. (Another in my party asked for no egg in a noodle dish, and was very clearly served eggs.)
Very disappointed!!

The menu spells out all the items that are gluten free and there is a good selection.

First time I went I had a fairly good experience! No symptoms and a couple different options.
Went for a second time last night and after making sure my allergy was marked, my food came out with bread on the plate.
They took it back and assured me the rest of the food was safe. I have a ton of symptoms today. Not my worst reaction, but like others have said i wouldn’t trust when they’re busy they’re more careless.

I’ve been here a few times, and what they’re willing to serve you depends on how busy they are. If you’re there for lunch or on a slow night, they might take the time to make something GF that might not normally be, and it will be good! But if they’re busy, there’s not a whole lot of options

We’ve become regulars of late at the Vault. Wonderful lemon coconut soup! Their specials are often GF, we’ve enjoyed sushi marked GF but you should inform your server and request the GF Tamari rather than the soy sauce, and there are lots of GF options. My wife is a “textbook” Celiac and every meal has been safe for her.
More recently...Feb 2021...don’t go when they’re busy. They will not give any assurance that they will deliver GF dishes that are marked as GF on the menu. VERY disappointed!!

Menu labeled with gluten free options. I got the chicken clay pot (chicken curry with rice), which was really good!

Every time I visit Savannah I have to go to The Vault. My go to dishes are the Thai Basil Margarita (or the coconut mojito) , Calamari, Philly Roll w/ gf soy sauce, and the Lao Sausage. I have yet to have a problem with anything they have prepared... the first time I was there I even sat at the window to the kitchen and watched them carefully prepare my food. I am not celiac, but I get severe migraines when I eat gluten, so after eating here on 4 different occasions without an issue I am fairly confident that I can recommend this place to the rest of the gluten free community.
