Food and service were excellent. Practically the entire menu is GF.

Nearly everything on menu is gluten free- including there fried chicken fingers. Very pleased with the quality of the food and the staff is very accommodating to gluten intolerance.

We called before we went to double check they could accommodate for "gluten allergy" (celiac). Most of their menu is gluten free. It was nice to have so many options. Loved the vibe of the place.

There’s not a week that goes by that I don’t think about this GLUTEN FREE FRIED POPCORN SHRIMP😍🍤 ate here May 2023 & August 2023. One of my absolute favorite restaurants especially for gluten free. The shrimp, fries, & view of the bay was fantastic!! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem. (Because is somewhat hard to find)

Great experience! Most of the menu is gf. Our waitress, Felicia, took great care of us and said that they only use rice flour in their restaurant. Everything fried is safe. Our Celiac daughters had fried pickles and were loving it!!!

Amazing food. Good music. I am celiac and most (99%) of their menu is GF. Great view of the docks and water. We had fried gator bites, fried shrimp Gouda grits and beans. If you’re a celiac or cannot eat gluten you’ll appreciate this little place tucked in Sandestin and surrounded by little shops. The service was amazing thanks to Morgan our waitress! Thank you Morgan.

I was sooo happy to find a restaurant who has figured out gf breading is the way to go. I ate fried pickles, fried oysters, fried shrimp. Since being gf I only eat fried foods once a year but this was a special treat. Been several ours and no issues. Highly recommend.

Just flew into Destin/Miramar Beach and was looking for a GF-friendly place for dinner. Went here based on positive reviews and I wanted good seafood (something not easy to find in Minnesota). Very gluten-free friendly menu and (they say) a dedicated fryer.
My crab boil was just ok; shrimp were overcooked and I’ve had more flavorful crab, but the sausage was sweet and tasty. But overall, not worth the price, imo. My youngest daughter had the BBQ chicken wings and those were spot on; very good and a good amount (all dummies). I’d get those again in a heartbeat. My other (celiac like me) daughter had the butterfly fried shrimp basket, and I didn’t get to steal one of those, but she said they were really good. I sampled a few of the kids’ fries and they were tasty too.
Now, I’m not sure if it was something I ate earlier, or just my stomach being overly sensitive after a day of flying, or something I ate at the restaurant, but 30 min later while we were picking up groceries for our Airbnb, I did get a bit of an upset stomach and had to run to the bathroom. Nothing serious, but hard to tell what caused it. But wanted to write an honest review.
I’d still recommend this place, and it’s located in a super cute pedestrian mall with lots of fun shops. (You have to go through a security gate before you reach the mall area and tell them where you’re dining; not sure if that’s standard procedure, but it threw me off a bit, so be prepared.) Parking could be a little tricky in busier times of the year (we were here in January, and it was practically a ghost town), but there’s a parking ramp nearby. Note that the restaurant is not heated, so if it’s chilly, this might not be a good place to go (there was a windchill of 32° outside when we went, and the indoor part of the restaurant wasn’t much warmer! We kept our coats on the entire meal.)

We went tonight. My 10 year old is celiac. What a great experience. After we ordered a hamburger with GF bun and mentioned severe allergy, the waiter came back and asked if it was celiac or just an allergy. They were so knowledgeable! Probably one of the safest places we’ve eaten.

Wow!! As someone else said, everything is gluten free, except the buns, but they have gluten free buns! While in town for a week, I had the fried pickles, fried shrimp, French fries, fried chicken tenders, blaze bbq sandwich and potato salad. It was so nice to be able to feel “normal “ ordering! Everything was excellent!!

The place is safe to eat for celiacs but the food isn’t good. We had the nachos, chicken tenders, and fried pickles. It was all edible but for the price and the horrendous parking situation, go elsewhere.

Great experience! Food was great!! Fried fish, gumbo, shrimp & grits…all amazing. (But, whoa! Seriously, make the grits happen!) Felt totally safe and didn’t get sick. Almost the entire menu is marked gluten free. Great ambiance too. Right on the water. Live music. Indoor or outdoor seating. Baytown Wharf never disappoints. But this is a special treat for the GF community! And non-GF people don’t even notice the menu is really for us *wink!

I have celiac and saw a lot of great reviews about this place, so I had to try. Everything on their menu is gluten free except the buns, but they do offer gluten free buns. They only have one fryer and everything fried is gluten free, so no chance of cross contamination. I talked to the waiter about it. She said the owners daughter has celiac so he made a whole restaurant for her. They use rice flour for everything. She said so many people come in here and cry because they haven’t been able to eat this stuff in years. I was so happy. 😭

We had an amazing waitress. She explained everything to us and made sure we were taken care of. Their gf buns are delicious and I enjoyed eating with no worries about being glutened. Celiacs can eat their safely. We will be going back!

Great experience! The entire menu is gluten free. I got to try fried pickles and popcorn shrimp for the first time! Everything is marked on the menu “gluten free” and there are gluten free buns for sandwiches. The restaurant is right on the water so you can see all the boats. The food was great and my family said it tasted like normal fried food. I am Celiac and did not get sick. Highly recommend!

Menu is essentially gluten free. They have a few gluten containing items (like the buns), but our server said a different person handles those besides the chef. The meal passed my Nima sensor, so I was able to eat it without any problems! The food was really good too!

This is a great stop if you’re looking for seafood or fried foods. About 90% of the menu was gluten free. Everything that they fry was gluten free they said, so there was no issue with shared fryers. The reviews were great on this app and we weren’t disappointed. My 5 year old loved the fried shrimp. Great atmosphere as well.

We’ve been coming to the area for at least 10 years and had never heard about the Village @ Baytown. Happened up on it by chance yesterday. The atmosphere was very good tucked away in the back of the shopping/entertainment village. The live music was fantastic. With Celiac in the family it’s hard to find fried seafood that isn’t overly breaded or flavorless. My wife (celiac) loved the fried shrimp. It is now her favorite with Yo Mamas in Bham close second. The smoked tuna was the best we’ve eaten. We have 3 more days in Destin and will be back at least twice. Going to try the BBQ options on Memorial day.

A celiacs heaven, and a must hit if you are in the area and are not used to fried food. No cross contamination issues, and almost the entire menu is GF. Terrific atmosphere for lunch and dinner, right on the water with outdoor seating. Staff is great. Turns into a nightclub after a certain hour ( I believe 9pm) so beware if you are bringing young children
