Great lunch spot. Good quality tea in a pot. Delicious sandwich on gluten free bread but if you are worried about cross contamination it would be risky.

Edit: I’ve never gotten sick here but last time I was here I did notice that it’s a very small prep space and I’m not sure they have separate ingredients for gluten free orders which is problematic if they’re grabbing lettuce after touching bread.
The girl who took my order has celiac disease. She said they’d wrap the bread in aluminum foil to keep it safe. The sand which was delicious and I didn’t get sick.

Sandwiches definitely not safe for celiacs. Same prep area, cutting boards, knives, etc (even when I said celiac and explained about cross contamination). But they will put it on tinfoil before putting in panini press, so if that’s all you need then you’re all set.

Employee explained that everything could be (and probably was) cross-contaminated. I really appreciated the transparency. My non-celiac companions enjoyed their food there, but I chose to wait until we got to a GF restaurant not far away.

Made gluten free grilled cheese/panini for celiac son and myself. Took extra precautions to avoid cross contact. They have gluten items everywhere but we ate here safely and felt they did good job.

Tasty egg sandwich on GF bread with toppings of your choice. I had cheese and roasted peppers. Staff was friendly and latte was perfect compliment.

PSA that they put flour in the eggs. I ordered a GF breakfast sandwich and was informed that they use flour in the egg mixture. They subbed for egg whites but I’m disappointed that I’ve ordered eggs before and said I had an allergy and was just told about this now.

Pretty good selection. The bakery options change but the sandwiches are always a good bet
Breakfast bread can be changed out to GF bread. Several GF baked goods: key lime pie, chocolate chip cookie, snickerdoodle (yummy), and lemon-blueberry iced donut (moist, fresh, and flavorful). They had beet salad (like at other location) and chia seed pudding. I definitely didn't feel like GF was an after thought. They also had free refills of coffee at this location (vs at the one next to Boston Commons that charged 55 cents for refills). Nice atmosphere and reasonably priced.
Gluten Free Tiramisu, cookies, key lime pie...yummy
Amazing G/F options and large gluten free cakes selection!! Heaven

Phenomenal food! Had a breakfast sandwich and the tiramisu and both were delicious and I didn’t get sick from either. The lines are long but completely worth it.
Run don’t walk! This place is amazing! I had gf tiramisu that was delicious. Took home a gf brown sugar pumpkin donut that was so good. Also tried their gf vegan snickerdoodles- wow! They taste like pure butter but there’s no butter (vegan). Great place for dessert!
Had a GF bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich with no reaction. Cool spot for a quick brunch.

Donuts were wonderful. Always a treat when I find Gf pastry’s. Also tried a sandwich...it was delicious...dont get sandwiches very often. Definitely try. And their coffee is wonderful.
Coffee shop in North End part of Boston. They offer both GF and non- GF baked items. Have GF tiramissou, and an unbelievable Vegan/ GF Snickerdoodle made w/ Almond flour. I would consider this a place to go after having dinner in North End, to grab a Cappucino and a sweet after dinner.
Yes
staff has great knowledge of GF risks and takes extreme precaution. one of the cooks actually has celiacs, which made me feel at ease! the GF black forest cake and the meyers lemon tart is delicious

Went here today for the first time... placed my order and let the lady at the counter know that I was a very sensitive celiac so proper handleing is essential. She assured me they were very aware and used all precautions. I walked down the line and watched the young lady making my sandwich. She started by changing her gloves.... then wiped off her counter... next step was heating my bread which she did by wrapping it first in foil before placing it in the press... I was so very impressed that they would take the time to think that far in to the process... I had actually been thinking as I was watching "Oh well, there is the cross contamination potential, and I would probably be eating the filling and leaving the bread even though the bread itself was gluten free" When she wrapped it in foil I wanted to hug her!!! Then the poor girl dropped one slice on the counter when she unwrapped them... she immediatly without any hesitation took that slice and put it in the trash and prepared a new slice! I am so excited to have found this place! I know I will go back there again, and again, and again :D Very, clean, very pleasant, right on top of the allergin issue... I just wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!! Had to come back and edit this review! I indulged and purchased a gluten free pastry, they had a black forest cake today.... little layers of cake with cream filling and cherries.... out of this world!!! Anyone with celiac can attest to how rare good pastries are and a shop that sells really good gluten free bread for your sandwich!

I am a sensitive celiac. While, I did take a chance, I didn't get sick. I had the gf tiramisu and it was delicious. A lot of chance for cross contamination here but the employees were extremely helpful!

Amazing GF chocolate chip cookie, great coffee, and helpful staff
Stumptown coffee is awesome. Good GF treats.
Did not change gloves before getting out my bread (from a basket with other non-gf bags of bread in it too), and putting it on tin foil to heat it up, or before getting out the bacon to heat it up. After those things were warmed up, they changed gloves to put the sandwich together, but it would have already been contaminated. I didn't dare eat it.

Coffee and latte are very good, not your cheap chain stuff. Lots of GF options and knowledgeable staff. Can make pretty much any sandwich GF
Very good. I had a BALT on gf bread and thought it was delicious. The bread was perfectly crispy. They also have French macarons which are delicious (but very tiny). Portions could be better, service could be better, and prices were a little high. But overall I would go back.
Chocolate chip cookie is awful
I would give the chocolate chip cookie two stars, but overall the place gets one because while they have gf bread, they do not understand celiac at all. I asked the person taking my order to change gloves and wrap the sandwich in aluminum foil and she looked confused. She asked, "why?" That's when I knew not to risk it.

I'm in love with their GF bread. Makes a great grilled cheese
nice sandwich on gluten free bread and delicious cookies too

GF cookie was good. They have a GF Boston Opera cake that is amazing!!! Also the GF tiramisu is great.
Gf chocolate chip cookies are so delicious! I also had a grilled cheese on the gf bread and the sandwich maker wrapped my sandwich in tinfoil before grilling. No reaction!

Food was ok. But we were all a bit put off by the manager’s answers to our questions. He seemed more interested in not being held liable for anything than in explaining how they tried to avoid cross contamination. When we brought up the fact that our kid had celiac he seemed not to know what it was. “Is this life or death?” He asked. “Because we don’t have anything in place to prevent cross contamination and we keep the cocoa powder right next to the flour for example”.
