the gluten free pasta was great!! and with cream sauce! my 3 year old has celiac so they made her pasta with cream sauce and she chowed down;) all the food labelled gf was prepped and cooked alone;)
The GF menu is the regular menu with GF items marked as GF. You can get some salads, some pasta dishes, or the risotto option. A salmon dish was labeled GF but it was served with gnocchi so I would be wary of that. I have never found GF gnocchi except from GF specialty markets. I think this is a chain so don't expect exquisite food. I had the shrimp pasta and it was good. Address is 31255 Union Landing Blvd Union City 94587 phone 510 431-5142. It's new so difficult to find online.
— Not very
At tomatina I got A piece of gluten pasta in my gluten-free pasta dish
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Not Much
The food is good though they are not very thorough on cross-contamination for celiac’s
They had many gluten free options. I had the minestrone soup and they substituted gf pasta. I also added chicken. It was very good and nice to have minestrone as I haven't had it in a long time. Their marinara sauce was very tasty too-not too sweet. The waiter was great and so too was the service.
Have gluten free pasta but cook in same water as non-gluten free pasta. Took several people and several explanations to understand what I could actually eat. Got the spare rib and was good.
Gluten free and gf subs clearly outlined on menu. Great pastas. Waiter very friendly, knowledgeable of gluten intolerance and reassuring. GF pizzas baked in same oven, but dedicated space in oven, cut and prepared with separate utensils. Eaten there several times with no problem.
Their food is amazing. They are so helpful and can modify most things on their menu to be GF. It's one of my favorite spots because I know I'll go there and be able to get something tasty and not have to settle. However, they are very poor at cooking gluten free pasta. It's usually still pretty firm. But tasty.
I should have headed the other review. I'm highly sensitive and I left there having a real hard time breathing. I was able to manage with just benadryl, but still. Just about all of us ordered gf meals to be safer (2 ordered reg pizza). The restaurant was empty accept for us and one other person. I don't know what happened, but delicious food (which it was)or not we can't risk going back. If your highly allergic STAY AWAY!
I LOVE this place! My daughter told me about it - she went there with a friend. The first 2 times I went there, they had a gluten-free gnocchi side dish that was fabulous!! Then I noticed the little "GF" notation was missing from that menu item, and I asked about it. I was told that they switched "to a potato gnocchi," which is not a good excuse since potatoes don't have gluten on their own. If they bring back the GF gnocchi, I'll change my rating to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!
Gluten free options listed on the menu. The staff is very friendly and helpful when asking about GF options and checking on things with the chef. The GF pizza crust is pretty darn good! Haven't been sick from here at all!
First visit was great. Hubby ordered GF Alfredo and liked it. Second visit was less than ideal. Found three different pieces of non gluten free pasta (penne, spaghetti and fettachini) in the GF pesto dish. Severe reaction... :(
I had a Mediterranean salad that was very good. I was told that all salads were gluten free except the Caesar. Menu included gluten free pizza and pasta, which I didn't try. I would definitely go again.
