If I could leave 0 stars I would. After speaking with the hostess, waiter, and 2 different managers. We still were glutened. One of the managers did it to. It was the first day of our 5 day vacay. Ruined the 2 days after for me. If you don't want to be sick, avoid this place!

They have a dedicated fryer and prep space in the kitchen along with a lot of choices for GF dining. The staff is super knowledgeable and they will even adjust menu items to order. I’m very happy with my experience here! Shout out to our server Lauren from PA for being super awesome and going through the entire menu with me! <3

The waiter Jamie completely understands celiac disease and is aware of what can and cannot be made gluten free. While not on the menu, there are many GF options and numerous items that can easily be made GF with buns and pasta that are available.

Staff were great. Could accommodate almost anything off the menu for my Celiac son (14). He loved the chocolate milkshake too.

My waiter Jamie was incredible. He knew all about celiac disease and cross contamination. He even followed up with me after he put in my order to tell me how they were going to prepare it. I got the Reuben on a gf bun.

They were super knowledgeable and accommodating. They have a gluten free pasta and bun option. I ordered the marinara pasta off of the kids menu as I have a small appetite. The chef brought it up seterately and had gloves on. I was also able to have a hazelnut milkshake. However they did tell me that the vanilla and white chocolate ice cream is not gluten free because it has malt in it. Let the waiter know and they will be super acomidating!

We had milkshakes and I had a chocolate one and I felt fine after. But there was a lot of milkshakes that had brownies and cake, so there could definitely be cross contamination and I would be careful.

The food was fine, but the menu was weird. They had gluten free and vegan food marked, but only one dish was marked gluten free. When we asked about it we were told there were many gluten free dishes, the chef just had to alter the meals. I ordered a burger with a gf bun that was supposed to come with a pineapple chutney, but when the burger came it didn’t have the pineapple chutney because apparently it wasn’t gluten free, but no one told me it wasn’t gluten free. A cool burger ended up being a really plain burger...

Staff was knowledgeable at the walk up shake bar. They made my son a gf/df chocolate shake. He loved it. He does not have celiac. I do have celiac and they advised me not to get anything there because of cross contamination.

The only experience I had here was at the walk up icecream bar. I asked the cashier what I could get as I am allergic to peanuts, strawberries, and have celiac. I was told that I can have a brownie milkshake with chocolate icecream only. Obviously I was very excited to hear that I can have something worh brownies. So I ordered it and someone made it and as they went and touched the glass with the brownie. The manager noticed my order said allergy and told them the brownies are NOT gluten free. So, the manager had the guy remake my order but with just chocolate and they would give me a piece of flourless chocolate cake with it...well the guy remade my shake and then another girl proceeded to take her dirty gloves and touch my straw(unwrapped straw) and stick it into my milkshake and then touch my cake. At this point I had had enough. I ended up getting my money back from a very apologetic manager. I have heard that these kinds of mistakes are not made if you go into the restaurant to order but I will absolutely not return to the counter.

In the menú you can only found ribs marked as gluten free. But if you ask they also have buns and pasta. We tried pasta Alfredo and it was very good.

The staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The head chef came to my table and answered all my questions. There are many options if you ask and they were sure to prepare my food separately with clean equipment. They also have a policy about who is allowed to deliver food to the table to prevent any confusion on the order. I felt very safe here and really enjoyed all the food.

Sick the same day eating here. They have GF options but the Lenexa of Cross contamination exceeded my ability to deal with it. Sad because it was really good food.

There was exactly one thing marked on the menu as GF (roasted Brussels sprouts, which were amazing), but everything else involved asking the waiter who wasn’t very sure. I had the shrimp and crab mac and cheese with GF pasta, and I’m not feeling well the next day. Can’t say for sure whether it’s related or not. The big draw here is the over-the-top shakes. I was told they could make plain shakes out of chocolate ice cream, only. I asked again, and the waiter checked to see if they had any of the GF variety of peanut butter ice cream the usual PB ice cream is not GF). They had a sundae (with mods) or could make a plain PB shake. We ultimately passed on that. There are better restaurants. Hit up the chocolate Emporium’s gift area, maybe stop at the shake bar, but don’t waste your time or money on a meal here.

They have some native GF menu items, and can customize others. I wasn't blown away by the food, so much as their story, decor, and experience there. Dessert was more limited, to the chocolate or peanut butter ice cream. It was safe for me, fun more than anything.

Like many places in Universal, at first glance they don't seem to have many GF options. Always ask!! There are only two GF appetizers on the menu. Nothing else. I ordered those but the server brought out the chef to talk to me. He offered to modify several dishes to be GF. I ordered the appetizers anyway. They brought those and GF bun toasted. Surprisingly good. They also suggested a few desserts not listed as GF on the menu that they could modify. Very good experience. Didn't get sick. Another companion had a cold and sore throat. They brought her hot water with lemon without her asking. Then made her a buttered rum. Fantastic service and overall experience. Would definitely go back.

So good. Left there absolutely stuffed. I told the server I have to eat GF and a chef came out and talked to me. Went through the menu with me. They have gf pasta and buns. I asked about the crab/artichoke dip and they were able to make it gf for me with toasted gf sliced bread. It was amazing. I had the fettuccini carbonara with gf pasta and it was so so good. Only a couple of the milkshakes are gf, I had the chocolate x5 and again, very good. Just a really nice place to eat and an excellent atmosphere.

I would highly recommend that if you are gluten free, do not come here. Every ice cream has gluten except for chocolate and the peanut butter ice cream. There is a gluten peanut butter ice cream and a gluten free peanut butter ice cream which they sometimes have in stock. They can make any milkshake or sundae with the substitute of chocolate ice cream so it's gluten free. My dad got a cup (that is packaged) made out of plain chocolate and it had wheat in it! The flan which is originally gluten free had gluten! Even the person said the flourless chocolate cake has gluten in it but not 100% sure about that. Also the mouse has gluten in it. I wanted a chocolate cover banana and the chocolate coating had gluten in it. Every dessert item pretty much has gluten in it. I did not eat lunch or dinner there so I can not vouch for the gluten free there. Otherwise the staff was very friendly but also very knowledgeable on gluten free

Had a very positive experience. Our server was very knowledgeable, as was the manager who came to our table. Many menu items can be made GF, and their hamburger buns are particularly tasty (not your typical dry Udi's). In addition to separate kitchen space, they will flash fry french fries in a pan with new oil to ensure there is no cross contamination...hello truffle fries!!! It is true that only two of the milkshakes are GF, but we knew that going in so my son was prepared to have limited choices. They also have 3 other tasty (and large) GF desserts to choose from. The restaurant is really fun and if you are lucky, Penelope herself will come by your table for a chocolate chat ;)

The wait staff was very kind and knowledgeable. Most of the menu can be gluten free if you ask. Also I asked the chef about the fryer and other tools used and he assured me they where in a separate area, therefore avoiding cross contamination. Needless to say I did not have a stomach ace after leaving 👌🏻

There are only 2 items marked gluten free on the menu, but they really have a lot more! The chef came out to speak to us about our options. They have GF noodles, buns, and bread. My daughter wanted a burger and a dessert, so that's all we asked about. The chef even got new oil for our fries to make sure they were ok. He said that they sometimes fry other things in that fryer. She was able to get the May Contain Bacon burger and fries with a GF bun and not her modifications. I got the Tour de France burger with a GF bun and no French fried onions. We even used or Nima sensor to test the fries, no gluten found! In fortunately, I only brought 1 capsule so I didn't get a chance to test our burgers. The only shakes that are GF are the Chocolate X5 (we got that) and the Peanut butter one(can't remember the name). You can also get the flourless chocolate cake if you sub plain chocolate ice cream or peanut butter ice cream and the chocolate creme brûlée. The staff was very helpful!

Restaurant policy to have a chef come to the table when you ask about GF options. Very accommodating for my restrictions. I had the GF version of the pasta Alfredo with chicken, excellent meal. I ordered a chocolate milkshake (also GF) but wasn't a fan of their chocolate.

At the front hostess stand I asked about a gluten-free menu & was told a chef would come out to speak to me. I was a little nervous because my server seemed new and didn't know what to do (the gluten-free list she had was quite small) but after I asked her to send the chef out there were lots of things on the menu that could be made GF, and he explained that they make those orders in a separate kitchen space. I opted for the fettuccini alfredo with substituted pasta because this is the first time I've found a restaurant with GF alfredo sauce. It was amazing, and they also have a flourless chocolate cake that was delicious. Recommend for celiac disease, just make sure that if they don't send a chef out to you, you ask for them.

They do not have a gluten free menu but many things can be made gluten free. The chef came out and personally spoke to my son. They have gf buns, bread and pasta. The chef cooked chips in a separate pan so my son could.eat them. They even modified a shake for my son to have for dessert.

The chef came out and let me know that over half the items on the menu could be made "gluten free". They have buns, pasta, and bread to adapt most of the food choices there. The burgers were AMAZING. We even got to have dessert (flourless chocolate cake and chocolate creme brûlée and a few ice creams). They do use the fryers for everything but if you are sensitive and not celiac, I ate them twice and did not think it was bad. Overall good prices for city walk.

They didn't have a gluten free menu but my server was knowledgable and was able to help me find what options were safe. She even double checked with the chef to ensure everything I picked was safe! Although she let me know they had gluten free pasta that's prepared in a separate area of the kitchen, I decided on the bacon burger with a gluten free bun. Since the fries were made in a shared fryer I opted for mashed potatoes instead of fries and they were amazing! We had the chocolate crime brûlée for dessert too and it was very yummy! We also got some macaroons on the way out... The lady at the counter was also knowledgable and informed us that MOST of the flavors were gluten free (not the cookies and creme, pistachio, or key lime ones) and we were very happy with the gf flavors we chose! Over all we had a very good experience and I didn't get sick at all!

Location does not have a gluten free menu or dedicated fryer. They do offer gluten free buns for burgers, but cross contamination is a strong likelihood. Servers are willing to verify options prior to ordering so definitely ask!
