Never had an issue here! I over explain that it’s a severe allergy not preference and I’ve never had a reaction :)
Update: They have a gluten free menu you just have to ask! Most sides can be gluten free, just make sure to specify an allergy—ask for corn tortillas and no chips(shared fryer). I am extremely symptomatic and have had no issues here. Brushfire is my fave with poblano ranch!
Delicious tacos! Eaten here several times with other celiacs and no one’s gotten sick. They have a separate “gluten conscious” menu.
We always specify a gluten allergy and order the bean and cheese tacos on corn tortillas- and chips and salsa. The staff has been knowledgeable and helpful, and we’ve never had an issue.

I generally am able to go to Torchy's Tacos without any issues, but have had problems with this particular location on numerous occasions. In the past, I have come to this location with a non-gluten free friend and they have served our tacos together, even though I specified that could not eat gluten. They appear to not have any idea about cross contact and I no longer feel safe to eat here as someone with Celiac disease.
Gluten sensitive menu. Delicious creative tacos. No reactions after eating there several times. Just wish they had homemade tortillas, other than that they were amazing.

Delicious! They have a “gluten conscious” menu online and will note that the order needs to be gluten free if you ask when ordering. I got the chicken fajita and fresh avocado tacos, and both were great if a little spicy (I have a low spice tolerance). The manager stopped by our table while we were eating and brought us free chips and queso when we said it was our first time there. He explained that they have a dedicated fryer for the chips and even brought out a bag of the cheese they use so I could confirm it was gluten free. Overall, it was a great experience!
I went even after reading the previous review. We informed the staff when taking our order that I could not have gluten as it will make me sick. I was I formed that they would mark my food with a note so there was no cross contamination. Before we left, I was starting to have reactions to the food and it’s the only thing I have ate today. Will not be going back.
I had heard good things about Torchy's from GF friends, but the Cashier was not at all informed on GF. She assured me that the kitchen was well informed and could wipe things down, use separate utensils, etc. But they brought me a taco with fried tortilla strips on it, even after we had talked about the fact that their chips are not gluten free like they claim, since there's a shared fryer. I didn't eat it, to be safe. Definitely wouldn't recommend
Good tacos with lots of protein. Plan ahead by looking at their website for GF options and ask order to be flagged as GF. All is made in back, and I don’t know about their kitchen protocols. I get the same thing every time I go and feel safe with that.
