Excellent and diverse GF offerings, just ask for a gluten free menu and let the cashier know. I eat here regularly and have not gotten sick. Fabulous margaritas to boot!
The democrat tacos tested positive for gluten on my nima sensor. I thought they seemed knowledgeable and accommodating but unfortunately it had gluten
The food was very tasty. Most is GF. The lady behind the counter said they could take off everything that wasn't. I'm not sure if she will expected me to know or if they would do that just by requesting GF. Guess I will find out in a couple hours. My wife got the fajita tacos, she thought the meat was a little larger than she expected. I had the pork carnitas and the barbacoa beef, both were excellent. Margaritas aren't too bad. Had a slightly different taste but I'd drink another one. Definitely worth coming for a quick, healthy meal.

Delicious! They have a “gluten conscious” menu online and will note that the order needs to be gluten free if you ask when ordering. I got the chicken fajita and fresh avocado tacos, and both were great if a little spicy (I have a low spice tolerance). The manager stopped by our table while we were eating and brought us free chips and queso when we said it was our first time there. He explained that they have a dedicated fryer for the chips and even brought out a bag of the cheese they use so I could confirm it was gluten free. Overall, it was a great experience!
I went even after reading the previous review. We informed the staff when taking our order that I could not have gluten as it will make me sick. I was I formed that they would mark my food with a note so there was no cross contamination. Before we left, I was starting to have reactions to the food and it’s the only thing I have ate today. Will not be going back.
I had heard good things about Torchy's from GF friends, but the Cashier was not at all informed on GF. She assured me that the kitchen was well informed and could wipe things down, use separate utensils, etc. But they brought me a taco with fried tortilla strips on it, even after we had talked about the fact that their chips are not gluten free like they claim, since there's a shared fryer. I didn't eat it, to be safe. Definitely wouldn't recommend
Good tacos with lots of protein. Plan ahead by looking at their website for GF options and ask order to be flagged as GF. All is made in back, and I don’t know about their kitchen protocols. I get the same thing every time I go and feel safe with that.
