Honestly one of the best gluten free places I have ever eaten! They have only dedicated gluten free fryers and only fry gf fries and tots. They have fish and chips! The batter is made with their own cider in house. They can make any sandwich/wrap/burger gf! Even a gf cheesecake. If I'm in the area again... I would come back a thousand times
Have been going here for a few years now, and has always been consistent and safe for me. I can’t get enough of the Cod and Chips (I usually get the tots). We have tried other food there at various times (cheesecake is wonderful as well) and I really can’t think of anywhere else that does this type of food better.
I loved this place before getting diagnosed with celiac but coming here now knowing they take precautions and everything is gluten free safe makes me feel comfortable eating here. I got the gluten free bacon jam burger with fries and walked away having no issues. And their ciders are wonderful!
Delicious and safe for those of us with Celiac! Chicken tenders, fries, tots (fry sauce, ranch and tartar), fish & chips, and huckleberry cheesecake were all safe and flavorful! Nice outdoor seating and great to bring our dog along as well. Will definitely be back anytime we're in the area.
I love Trailbreaker! I have celiac and have eaten here a handful of times and have always felt good afterwards. They have many gluten free options, dedicated fryer, and all ciders are gluten free as well. The GF buns and bread are also vegan! Good food and good cider!
They do have lots of events here and on those days there’s a limited menu and limited seating. Make sure to call ahead regarding events.
Went in and had the salmon avocado salad, a basket of fries, and a cider. All the ciders are gluten free except the occasional one they brew with beer yeast, but they clean the lines thoroughly and are very transparent with which ones are safe. The kitchen staff is super safe and have a prep space for only gluten free stuff. The fryers are only for gluten free things and nothing with gluten gets fried. Had a great meal, no reaction, and will definitely be coming back!
They do have a dedicated fryer. I had the fries with no ill reaction. They were willing to let me read ingredient labels and talk about their process. Watch out with the cider. The server said the beer taps are always separate from the cider taps so that the draft lines are clean, but there was definitely a cider fermented with beer yeast on tap with the rest of the ciders. it was clearly labeled as such. I skipped that one and sampled ten of the others. Had a great time and appreciate their willingness to talk with me and work with me so everyone could be safe and happy!
Thanks for the Review! Just to make sure you understand our processes completely with our ciders, they are all 100% Gluten Free. Even ciders that utilize a beer yeast in no way come in contact with any gluten. The yeast is not manufactured in a brewery, rather a lab environment that does not contain any gluten related ingredients. Thanks for trying and helping spread the word - we appreciate it very much! Cheers -Trailbreaker Team
Not very impressed. No one knew what cider was actually gluten free, no one knew what soup was gluten free and the employees even stood there “discussing” and disagreeing what we could have. Then they brought me my soup with crackers on the plate (the crackers were open and there were crumbs on the plate). The manager/owner was incredibly condescending when I informed him of the issues. I do not recommend.
Dedicated fryer! fish and chips, chicken tenders, tots...there are not many places around that can serve gluten free fried food that is not crossed in the fryer. Burgers are realOverall they, Overall, they have great food at great prices. Bonus that you can drink the cider...
