You can do GF here BUT they need to prepare your food separately, which they will do, but it will take longer. Their fajitas are among the best around, but they use a wheat-based soy sauce in their marinade. So you need to ask for your meat to be prepared GF without the marinade and in a separate pan. They will do this for you! But it will take a little longer. So perhaps enjoy a delicious margarita and some chips, salsa, and guacamole while you wait. They also have corn tortillas. ALSO: You have to be sure to get the plain/white/cilantro rice (not the standard Mexican rice) and the only the black beans (ALL the other bean options (charro and refried) have gluten). Changing the meat is not enough, you have to watch out for the sides. But if you do all this, you will have a tasty fajita meal without gluten. And I’ve never been sickened when they do all this for me. Since it takes longer, we tend to order this as takeout that way we can order about 30-min before pickup and then enjoy our meal at home. A family favorite we do a few times a month. But if you stay, be sure to have a delightful margarita while you’re there!

Asked about gluten free options telling then I have celiac. Said the steak fajitas without marinade (soy sauce in a Mexican restaurant!?) Got glutened BIG TIME! Chips are fried in oil used to fry wheat items. I have NEVER been this sick in the 7 years since my celiac diagnosis. Don't even walk by this place if you are gf

Ordered off their gluten free menu- ended up being sick all night as I am typing this. Stay away
No
Gluten friendly menu. I was told they use a lot of flour in their kitchen. I ordered a salad with shrimp to be safe and was glutened.
No
They have a separate menu called "gluten friendly" which doesn't make a lot of sense because it lists options without gluten. I got a grilled chicken salad, which was just ok. I made the mistake of eating the tortilla chips that are cooked in the same oil as wheat foods, and I experienced the effects of being glutened. That was my fault for knowing and doing it anyway (I was only GF for one week and wasn't sure how sensitive I am). Stay away from the chips if you are at all sensitive.
this place is fine if you avoid the chips but there are limited offerings - you can email them for the list of limited gf menu offerings. These seem to change fairly often (they have updated their menu a few times in the last few years) but usually it’s ceviche, fajitas without marinades, salads without the taco shell etc. I posted a screenshot of their email from November 2023 with the gf offerings at the time and what could be modified to be gf. I do not get sick here but I’m not adventurous when I order here.

As a big uncle Julio’s fan prior to celiac diagnosis, it was disheartening to find out they have zero gluten free options. Everything is marinated in soy sauce and no dedicated fryer for chips.

TL/DR not a great GF place. There are much better options in Tulsa at half the price.
I ended up here for a family event with a party of 9. They do not have a gluten free menu. The waiter talked to the kitchen and said everything is marinated in soy sauce so they didn’t have any options. A few minutes later, the waiter came back and said they could do beef or chicken fajitas without the marinade. Great, I ordered beef. All of the meals arrive except mine. I’m told they pre-marinated everything. A few minutes later the manager comes by and says he is making the kitchen prep fresh fajita meat without marinade. I got my meal as everyone else was finishing up. It wasn’t that great. On the plus side I didn’t get sick. They did comp my meal for the trouble.
