We eat here often. Always get a personalized pizza and it has never made me sick. Great food!
The staff was a little clueless. I ordered gf meatballs and I thought gf noodles. When it came a piece of toast was on top which opened the conversation that only the meatballs are gf, not the noodles? Why would you have gf meatballs listed under spaghetti but the noodles contain gluten? So we ended up having to order a pizza.
Regular menu states plainly what was gluten free. Staff seemed very knowledgeable
The pizza is the typical Udi's frozen 10" crust, which is okay. However, their hot sandwiches are the business. They get buns from a Texas bakery. They toast right and have a great flavor. My only complaint is that they're a tad small (though similar in size to their regular sandwiches). They have their own chips, too. Very good. I have wheat allergies, and my son is celiac. We had no issues here.
Crust isn't great. The thinnest that I have ever experienced. Didn't get cross contaminated/ sick here which is a plus.
pizza crust is standard frozen, cooked over crisp and at an up charge.
Great GF pizza crusts! I have had a reaction to the GF sandwich buns every time I have ordered them, so I don’t recommend ordering the sandwiches, but the pizzas are great for celiacs/gluten allergy! Salads are also great, but make sure you hold the bacon bits (hidden gluten).
I didn't eat here, but called to inquire about their procedures for handling. At first they said they used the same pans for all pizzas. When I said it wasn't worth the risk to my health, they said they could put some foil down. Needless to say, I didn't eat there.
I had an excellent experience at US Pizza Co. in Maumelle on Friday evening! I have a severe gluten allergy. I am always scared to even walk in to a pizza place! My parents had a good experience last week so they convinced me to try it. We went in around 5:00 pm. The restaurant was empty. I explained my gluten free needs to our server John. He took me very seriously and got his manager Eric MacGrath. The manager went to the kitchen to explain what they needed to do for me. They changed their gloves, got fresh sauce and toppings for my pizza. Used a clean cutter, etc! I didn't even have a slight reaction!!! Also, they have the most beautiful patio I've ever seen. We plan to go back soon! It was so nice to have pizza that I didn't have to cook.
I ordered a gluten free primavera with noodles figuring if the primavera was GF the noodles were as well. I was wrong after asking again. It was a GF topping on regular noodles. That could have gone very wrong since it is a food allergy. Thankfully I was able to change my order. Afterwards ordering an amazing.... GF meatball hoagie on GF bread!! That is why I’m giving it a 4 star rating. I’m hooked for life now! My family will be back to eat there again! The food was so delicious!
Food was great and the waitress could tell me how they kept the pizza from being cross contaminated. As mentioned in another review she told me the owner is gluten free so they are well aware of cross contamination. I am very susceptible to cross contamination and had no issues!
What an awesome experience. My waitress Evye was very knowledgable about Celiac Disease. I also found out the owner has Celiac so they are very careful with your food. They also use separate cutting utensils. They also sandwiches with gluten free buns, have gf pizza, and great salads . My new favorite place to eat. Kudos to Evye who made the whole experience great.
