Valeo's Pizza

Ordered a gluten free Buffalo chicken pizza and was super clear that I had Celiac and needed it gluten free — it came with breaded Buffalo chicken tender pieces all over it instead of grilled chicken strips as it had in the past. They were beyond rude. When I, without attitude, asked if they understood what gluten free meant seeing as how they put breaded chicken on it, they said, “most people just want it that way (gluten free) out of choice.” Totally unimpressed and disappointed. Will never return.

Great experience, staff is knowledgeable. For our tastes this is the best GF pizza to date in the Midwest. Enjoyed both MARGHERITA and BBQ CHICKEN on first visit.

FYI rather residential area. Parking lot can be busy.

Phone order and web ordering for carry out options were available.

Upon request was provided napkins so we could find a lakeside park and enjoy the pizza with a Lake Michigan view.

Ordering online was so simple. I noted celiac precautions in the order there. The pizza was tasty, hot, and I didn’t have to make it. Feel absolutely fine the next day.

I am celiac and did not have a reaction. Ordered a large gluten free/ vegan crust with pizza sauce, four cheese blend, garlic, red onion, black olives, fresh basil, garlic pepper, and oregano. The toppings were delicious, and the crust stayed together no problem. The four cheese blend either had ricotta or feta in it which made it so amazing. Its a rarity to actually be able to choose the size of your gluten free pizza. Will definetly be back again.

Ordered online via reviews from this app!!! Haven’t had pizza in a looonnngg time due to not trusting cross contamination and this place just made my night!!!!!! Very good, and didn’t get sick at all❤!! Even got a packaged gluten free brownie!!!

This pizza was amazing. They keep a separate oven for gluten free, take every precaution against contamination (one of the owners kids is celiac, so they know the ropes). They are completely upfront that there will be a bit of risk (flour in the air), but they take all the precautions they can. We will be back again! Note: they are delivery or carry out! We had a pizza picnic in a local park

Wow. I'm not from the area, and have tried my share of GF pizzas. This one was by far the best. It's always a risk to eat from a pizza place with celiac disease...

I emailed to ask them about how they handle the food, and the owner emailed back and explained their daughter has celiac, and that they make the pizza crust offsite, use dedicated tools, surfaces, and even a seperate oven.

While no pizza place can guarantee 100% safety, I've never felt so comfortable.

Super tasty. Can't recommend enough.

Valeo’s is well worth the price to build your own pizza or to try one of their well put together recipes. The pizza is amazing any way you slice it. I always order my pizza well done.David and Amy, the store managers, always have things well in hand and always has time for their customers. It is refreshing to say the least to see that a food place can still take their time to check on the service provided and still put out an off the hook pizza. I can not brag about the customer service, the cleanliness, or the care enough. Amazing GF homemade crust! This is not some mass produced pre purchased frozen crust. You have to try it for yourself. I love that they use fresh mushrooms too. So so good!
