The staff was very knowledgeable about their gluten free options, and I love that they know that Celiac is different than just a gluten free diet. They have an allergen list, with the few options that are not gluten free listed along with other possible allergens. The food was excellent and the care given to service was incredible.
Idk what the person is talking about saying all their chicken is marinated in beer...it’s not. I went and it is very celiac friendly. The only things with gluten are the usual suspects (cakes, churros, anything fried). But I told them I had an allergy and what I wanted and they said all of what we ordered was gluten free, but they went ahead and changed gloves when prepping my meal. Which was extremely delicious! I got the taku bowl with chicken and had some of my husbands gf fried rice with chicken. And all Of it was SO delicious!
Three days after eating here and I feel fine. I had rotisserie chicken, fruit and cilantro lime rice. I asked if the rice was cooked in chicken broth and the server said, “I don’t know but it should be fine.” I asked him to check and he did. Good service and good food.
I am EXTREMELY sensitive to cross contamination so if you are not that way but choose to or have to eat gluten free I would say go here. The food looks amazing and they have a lot of gluten free options just not a ton of completely Celiac friendly options( for example all of their chicken is marinated in beer). Here is my experience: After doing some research and reading reviews I decided to give this place a try. Sadly I won't be returning any time soon. They guy taking my order was not knowledgeable at all when I started asking him questions. But thankfully the owner came over and was so helpful telling me what would be safe to eat. I am SO thankful he came over because he saved me from getting super sick. He let me know that all the chicken is marinated in beer. That some of their sides have elements that are not gluten free and obviously anything that is friend is not gluten free. Basically the only thing I could safely eat was a salad. The safest salad for me was the Cobb salad and it was delicious but something on there did make me have a small reaction. (Can't take me anywhere..) long story short I won't be going back. But I have heard of others with Celiac who have not had a reaction and love eating here. Like I said the food looked amazing and I am so so grateful for the owner from saving me from a rough couple of days.
NOT CELIAC FRIENDLY!!! When I was assured what I ordered was gluten free, I expected it to be. I was getting sick before I could get halfway through lunch (which is probably a good thing so I didn't eat more of that garbage). Staff believes they are knowledgable and are NOT. At all. Previously, corporate never returned my email requesting information regarding gluten free items on their menu. Today is a beautiful day and it is now ruined, because I will be spending sick instead of with my 3 year old daughter. Viva Chicken?!! Morte Chicken!!!!!!!!
Fantastic! I am extremely sensitive to cross contamination, I have eaten here twice now without any reaction. They are knowledgeable about gluten and what on their menu has gluten, they change gloves when a gluten free order comes through, they really just seem to go above and beyond. The icing on the cake is that the food is amazing! A healthy alternative that has a ton of flavor! And most of their menu is gf, even their fried rice (the use gf soy sauce)! Definitely a new favorite.
