I am a great fan of wagamama and feel confident eating in all their restaurants however I was very disappointed with Telford and if this was my first visit to wagamama I probably would not visit again!
I asked for the gf menu and when our waitress saw I was gf she said that the manager would have to take my order. Katie the manager was very helpful and explained that my food would be cooked by the head chef who would wear fresh gloves and clean all the work surfaces and utensils before he cooked my food - and only the head chef or she would deliver my food to the table. She explained that all food would arrive as soon as it was cooked. So far so good and standard for wagamama.
My husband's food arrived and when he was nearly finished Katie came to apologise for the delay with my gf food but the kitchen was very busy. When my husband had finished his food Katie again apologised and said that my food would arrive soon and we would not be charged for the gf food and I could have a free dessert.
Still no gf food!
Katie apologized again and said gf food would arrive soon. Still no gf food
When the gf food finally arrived it was cold..The sauce for wok fried greens tasted good but was slimey because it was so cold..
The chicken and prawn pad thai was cold, had no flavour (maybe they forgot the sauce) and the prawns and chicken ( of which there was not much comoared to other wagamamas) was cold and half raw so I had to pick it out.
I left most of my food - which is unlike me. I could have complained but we just wanted to get out! Needless to say I did not bother with the free dessert
To conclude - I enjoy wagamama - I think they take allergens seriously - Telford will not stop me visiting other wagamamas. But Telford you let the side down.

The staff and the chef were very attentive of my needing everything to be gluten safe. The food was good and safe.

Great for gluten free options. Can adapt dishes with gluten free noodles. Good cross contamination processes. Manager takes the order and they are very careful. My 7 year old loves it here.

Wagamamas is always good for gluten free only the manager can take your order and they take cross contamination very seriously. It has its own gluten free menu. One of the best restaurants.

Lovely food and know about allergens. Was told that the food would be prepared separately by a senior chef.
