Wagamama

We are a family of 5 with 2 children who are Coeliac who can’t eat gluten.

It’s been a while since we have tried a Wagamama. The experience used to be far from perfect. When we would be handed a great big folder and had to work out what was safe.

Things have changed for the better. They had a no Gluten menu with a wide range of sides, mains and deserts. You can view the menu online. There is a range of curries, noodles and ramens.

The manager took our order and made sure we stayed safe throughout and the experience was excellent.

When the kids didn’t like one of their drinks (personal taste) it was taken away, replaced with one they did and taken off the bill without asking.

Our daughter wanted a kids meal but in an adult portion. No problem. We ordered 2 and they combined them on the plate.

They ran out of gluten-free chicken and cooked some more fresh for a ramen which meant we had to wait a little longer. An apology and they took it off the menu again without asking. They didn’t need to but it will mean we are way more likely to return.

Thanks to Pedro and team! Wagamamas is back on the list of restaurants we like to go to.

Totally AWESOME. 🤩 brought me a GF menu, explained the process for allergies, cleaning everything etc, changing gloves, only manager can make it etc. brought me a GF allergy sticker and kept me informed along the way.

I got the chicken curry it was so delicious! I am so appreciative of everyone and the food was a++++!! All of this in an airport.. wow!

I ate here twice. The staff have a clear system. A separate GF menu. The manager takes your order and is the only one to handle the food. I cried when they explained all the precautions, clean hands, fresh wok, clean fresh utensils, one chef for your order. A separate GF menu with a good selection of starters, mains and puddings. I felt really understood and cared for. It was a great experience with delicious food and kind people. I highly recommend Wagamamas.

Lots of different offerings

Not stuck with choice.

The manager comes over and takes your order specially and writes your order on a sticker on the placemat instead of just writing it on a placemat to be more specific.

My daughter loved her meal and it was safe and prepared in separate kitchen area. Staff were helpful and happy to answer any questions. Coeliac safe. And delicious!
