Got a ‘no gluten containing ingredients’ cake and I am extremely sick. I even said it was for someone with a severe allergy, so please be careful!
Wegmans grocery store has made some good improvements for gluten-free options. Their entire Sushi line is gluten free. Before I gluten free, there is no way I tried sushi. But now, it's heaven. Wegmans claims that all sushi in their store is gluten free. The other thing that Wegmans has started to do is make some good Bakery options. There is a small section of cakes, puddings and oatmeal breakfast treats. They also have a shelf full of all different types of cookies. They really have made a good selection the last couple of months that is available to Gluten Free People. a lot of their products are also gluten-free in all departments. They have a great Hooten free aisle, which contains most of the better-known companies for gluten free. I gave it a four stars only because I wish that there were some other options in their prepared food section. For example, they have no bun available for celiac people at the sub shop. They don't even give an option to have it made on a bed of lettuce. They also could do some more on their fresh food line. They have just a couple of options, like 4, which I appreciate but it would be nice to have another few items, in particular main entree options, on that prepared Food Bar.
Awesome!! so many things to eat here. Things that are gluten-free have the "made without gluten ingredients" label, which might make some people nervous, but it seems like they are also good about cross-contamination.
Wegmans has a great selection of gffood. But as usual it’s not cheap. But that’s to be expected. I will still be shopping here
