I have celiac and have eaten here twice with no problems. Their gluten free menu is only available online so if you are at the restaurant, you can order from that. I just made sure the staff was aware and asked them to double check with the chef too on certain things.

Wonderful food and a gf menu. Ate here a lot but a change in ownership lead to me getting sick after ordering gluten free.

I read previous review. We went in 2022 and there was gluten free options. The menu has gotten smaller. We like the wait staff. No problem with getting sick but not as clean as I would like it. I like the Wheaton location better except for parking.

They no longer have a GF menu. There are only a few items on the menu marked GF. NONE of the special sushi rolls can be made GF.

My daughter is celiac and extremely sensitive. They took us seriously here and my daughter had no problems after eating Pad Thai. Thank you to the management for keeping people like my daughter safe.

Update:
Still a happy customer. I still suggest that you speak to the manager before you order. They will supervise the whole process.
I've been eating at Wok'n Fire since they opened. When I was diagnosed with celiac, I was happy to discover their gluten-free menu. Tell the manager and your server about your issues with gluten. If the General Manager is there, you should be all-good. She follows your order from start to finish. I've only had issues when I did not explain my situation to a manger and relied on the server to bird-dog my order. The food is excellent and the service has always met or exceeded our expectations.

They have a gluten free menu you can order from and gluten free soy sauce. I’m not sure how knowledgeable the staff is, but I’ve never had a problem when I order off the dedicated GF menu.
Staff was great! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Large gluten free menu and food was delicious. Looking forward to eating here often. Prices also good.

They seem to take gf searsoulsy which is good, but the food was just ok.

Good gf sushi and pad Thai! I always eat a lot because it's hard to find gf sushi.
It is probably the choice I made that causes me to only give 3 stars. The Mahi Mahi tasted too dry for me but the vegetables were good. The next time I come here I will get a vegetarian meal. A lot of restaurants just don't prepare fish that well. My son liked his Mahi Mahi and wants to come back.
The place is very nice to dine in and the server was right on things.

Will NOT go back. Not sure if it is safe yet. Unfortunately, my reactions take 2 days now. Something in my sushi tasted really sweet not sure if it was the rice or the soy sauce. When I got it to go with my own soy sauce it tasted better so probably the soy sauce? We ate in this time at the new one in St Charles. I like the ones in Wheaton and Barrington locations better since I can taste the fish better.

They have a separate GF menu. All food on receipt itemized as GF. Soy sauce was marked GF
Decent selection on the GF menu. One of the few places I feel comfortable ordering sushi

I have never had a problem. Always accommodating and use separate utensils and pans. Never gotten sick, food has always been good and staff is always nice. It’s my go to “safe” restaurant ! Even has GF soy sauce (just ask!)

Amazing gluten free menu. Love their Tiger roll and chicken pad Thai!
This restaurant is fantastic! Our server Lauren was exceptional. My husband and I both have celiac‘s disease, and sometimes have a hard time finding restaurants that are safe. Lauren made sure that everything we had was safe and gluten-free. The food was phenomenal. I ordered mahi-mahi with fried vegetable rice and my husband ordered, a red curry shrimp stirfry. Both were delicious. For dessert I ordered a ninja roll, which is a banana wrapped in pink ginger wrapped in rice, drizzled with a cream sauce. It was beautiful and so so yummy. The prices were reasonable, we didn’t wait very long for food. I had a mai tai that was also delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any one with celiac’s disease. I have issues with dairy and egg in addition to celiac, and they were able to accommodate me. Neither of us had any stomach distress after. Do you do all of my allergies, my order is usually complicated and filled with lots of substitutions, Lauren was so kind and accommodating, and never made me feel badly for needing to order that way.
