Not Celiac safe. They have a gf crust but the prep area is absolutely covered in flour and they (assumedly) don’t have a back space to prep or cook it in. I did come at an extremely busy time so that may have played a bit of a role, but have a back up planned if you come here.

The employees were very knowledgeable about gluten allergies and immediately removed their gloves and said they would prep my pizza in the back. It was delicious.

Drove 30 minutes to get there and door was locked. People inside and sign on door said open until 9. It was only 8:15. Not how you do business.

"It is possible that there may be trace amounts of flour among our toppings. Our team members would be happy to change their gloves and build your pizza in a separate prep area in the back upon request if you are allergic to gluten. Gluten-free pizzas are baked in an aluminum tray to promote easy identification and reduced gluten contact. However, since we do work around flour all day and ALL pizzas are baked in the same oven, we can not guarantee that trace particles of flour and/or gluten are not in and around gluten-free items."
Great service, knowledgeable staff and very friendly. Food was excellent. Made me a separate salad fresh and made the GF pizza in the back

The “uptown” location is where it’s at! These fine folks take great care of my pizza. My husband and I come here once a week and I’ve never gotten sick. I have however gotten sick from their other location off Exit 8, but it’s because they were careless. Uptown location is great, just tell them you’re celiac and they’ll be very very careful.

I have eaten here three times in the last 6 weeks. It has become our "go-to" spot when we are in Phenix City. Fairly affordable and lots of choices. I have celiac; my SO is not gluten free. I have experimented a bit since the first time when my pizza crust was cooked through but did not hold shape (light sauce, extra crispy fixed that issue for me). They ask me right away if I need it prepared in the back and then immediately take off gloves to take my order to the back, where it is prepared away from the gluten containing items. My pizza goes on its pan into the brick oven (non-GF goes directly in without a pan) and into a section well away from the gluten pizzas. I have NEVER gotten sick from them and I am hyper-sensitive to cross contamination. Only thing that would make it better would be to have an area with access to the brick oven of its own that is fully designated gluten free so my pizza could go directly into the oven and have the opportunity to fully crisp on bottom, which is not something as easily designed. Can't wait to move up this way and have it nearby all the time!!!

Excellent food and experience. Easy peasy!

Great pizza. Online ordering experience is better than most. I like that you can choose GF crust, then choose whether it's a preference or an allergy and they treat the pizza accordingly.

The staff was super helpful and friendly! They had a separate person prepare everything away from CC! I'm very impressed!
Excellent and very knowledgeable staff! Very conscious of what to do to eliminate the food's exposure to gluten. They even knew whether I could eat the gelato flavors! HIGHLY recommend!!!

Celiac girl here, I ordered the white pizza GF. they took it to the back to prepare it away from all the other pizza prep up front. It was out quick and delicious!!
Pizza was great. Changed gloves, prepared my pizza away from other pizzas, put on pan in brick oven to avoid contamination. Will definitely go back.

When I first entered, I was worried since all the regular pizzas are tossed in the front and there was flour everywhere in the area but when I asked about GF, the girl changed her gloves, took the order, and took it to the back, where they made and baked the pizza separately, and the manager brought it out. It took a little longer since they burned the first one but they came out, explained the delay, and then gave us a coupon for our next visit without us asking. The pizza was delicious and neither my son or I got sick at all. They have a great variety of toppings too. Would come here again for sure.

Great Place- Celiac friendly! They toss pizzas in the front, but if you are a celiac or have a wheat allergy, they will make your pizza on a great GF crust in the back where the topping are not exposed to CC. Food is great!
Yes
They have a GF separated oven, however the utensils used for the marinara sauce and cheese are shared with the gluten pizza prep station.

Love this place. Always takes precautions by asking allergy or preference when ordering. Glove change and pizza prepared in a separate area. One of the best tasting pizzas I’ve had too.

Very nice about it; let them know it’s an allergy not a preference and they will make the pizza in the back where it is not in a contaminated area up front. they also have small packaged ceaser salads (no croutons) and of course the gelato is GF

They asked if it was allergy or preference. They made the GF pizzas in the back. The restaurant had the serve safe allergy certificates displayed. 3 gelato flavors were GF! Great food and service.

They have a GF crust and prepare your pizza in a designated room. I’ve been here many times and the pizza is good.
