Ate at 2 different locations while traveling through Utah. Online ordering was easy and customizable. Many GF items marked on menu, so helpful. My daughter has a wheat allergy but very sensitive to contaminants. Even the fresh drink dispenser was fun with cucumber-lime, mango and passionfruit. Zao's was great!

Went to the one in Layton. Beware, as soy sauce is used in some of the sauces. I experienced nausea about 30 minutes after I ate.

The staff was clearly trained on what items are gluten free, and had good protocols for cross-contamination—gloves changed, etc. Wish the menu were a bit more diverse, with some more vegetables.

the staff was so knowledgeable and carful about gluten free. might be my new favorite quick restaurant. all staff changed gloves as soon as i mentioned being gluten free

My girlfriend loves this place, and, as I was diagnosed with Celiac and am more aware of the difficulty of finding gluten-free options, I now love this place as well. Their menu online lists all of their gluten free ingredients. The only things you have to look out for based on my review are the spinach wrap, the yakisoba noodles, and their brownies. Based on watching their construction of the salad I ordered, each item has their own serving utensils so you don't have cross-contamination issues. I will definitely be eating there more often.

Most of their food is GF and they will tell you what is not. There may be some cross contamination but I have never had a problem. Love their bowls

The only thing not GF is the fried onions. If you let the staff know you need GF at this location they take extra precautions.
