There were a lot of options on their gluten free menu and the server was very knowledgeable about celiac disease. I ate there a few hours ago and have not experienced any symptoms.

Reading these other reviews make me question if I ate at the same CO (waverly), but my experience was great! I ordered takeout (for the first time eating here, a little scary). I got the Rainbow Roll and ended up loving it with no reaction! They have a good gluten free menu with a decent amount of options. They are willing to accommodate you and your needs, even over the phone for takeout! I will definitely be coming back!

Delicious food knowledgeable staff. They even had “fried” rice that was gluten free which was very exciting. Would come here again, I did not get sick.

We shared the Hanoi Noodles with tofu and shrimp and the Com Chien with shrimp. The noodles had a really good flavor and consistency and a little spicy. The Chien had a soy sauce flavor to it so I was scared the whole time I ate it but so far so good and I have not gotten sick. Overall loved the noodle dish and the other was just ok.

They have a separate gluten free menu with lots of options. I tried pho and the tofu spring rolls, both which were very good. I alerted them I had celiac before ordering so they would take extra precautions.

Excellent and safe food! I’m a super sensitive celiac and we eat here safely a couple times a month!
They’ve always taken great care of us and I’ve never had a bad reaction (fortunately). I tested the first couple visits with my Nima and it was good. I’ve subsequently not tested since and it’s still been good.
The wings are amazing, we LOVE the Hanoi Noodles, the summer rolls are delicious, as are the GF sushi rolls, especially the lemon roll and the rainbow roll.
Big fans!

Amazing amount of options. I am vegetarian and gluten free. I am lucky if I have 2-3 options when I go out to eat somewhere but here there were at least 10 options for me to choose from and everything I got was so yummy and high quality! Definitely recommend for a nice date night or time out with some friends!

Great experience, and great sushi! We tried the Philadelphia, lemon, spicy tuna and rainbow rolls. Very tasty! They brought out GF soy sauce for me. They also offer GF pho which I’ll try another time.

The waiter was clueless. They didn’t seem busy so I asked to speak to the manager and they said they weren’t available. I was so nervous and just picked at the lettuce on my salad

Fantastic food! My wife had the short rib pho, and really enjoyed it. I (non gf) had the Vietnamese Ramen, which was great! They have a separate gf menu with several options. Would definitely go back.

AMAZING! We arrived in Charleston very late and they were one of few that were still delivering. I ordered the Hanoi noodles with chicken (non gf ordered Korean BBQ banh mi) and the food was beyond amazing.

I walked in for lunch with two non-GF friends and ordered first. We decided to order takeout to go sit in the sun and not only were they SO accommodating to our request, they knew without me asking that they needed to label mine with my name and GF so I wouldn’t accidentally eat the wrong thing. The com chien was DELICIOUS and I was entirely safe the whole time!!! No reactions at all.

I definitely recommend this restaurant for anybody with Gluten allergies or not. They have a separate GF menu and our server (who has a Gluten allergy herself) noted that the kitchen takes precautions to keep everything separate. My husband got the GF Hanoi Noodles w/Shrimp and my daughter and I split the non-GF Carmel Pork Banhi Mi, the food was Amazing and Super Flavorful! And for an extra bonus my husband pointed out that the GF portion size was Huge compared to what he is normally given when he orders off GF menus.

They have a smaller gluten free menu which includes sushi options, hibachi, and Pho. I got the pho with beef and do not have any reactions!

I was genuinely afraid to eat here...we ordered off the GF menu but the server and the kitchen were very obviously having a hard time with knowing what sauces and everything was and was not gluten free. We paid after our drinks and starter and left. definitely done recommend

Updated:I ended up coming here the weekend before st Patrick’s day and it was so busy! I was very concerned and at first decided against even asking for a GF menu. I then decided to ask the bartender (we sat at the bar cause it was so busy) his opinion. I told him I am celiac and extremely sensitive and he immediately asked what food I was interested in. I told him I wanted the spicy tuna roll. He told me he would talk to the head chef himself to make sure it was taken care of. The best part, I could see the kitchen from my seat and saw them talking. Food was incredible. Service was EVEN BETTER. Will come back every time I’m in savannah.
I ate here with zero issues. I told them I was gf and got the spicy tuna rolls and they were amazing. I am a very sensitive Celiac typically and was not sick from it, I would go back again. Best sushi I’ve ever had!!

This is definitely my go-to restaurant downtown since I’ve eaten here many times without getting sick. Their sushi is so good and the staff there are easy to talk to!

They have a gluten free menu. The staff was very helpful. I had the chicken pho and it was delicious.
I had the Hibachi (steak and mushroom) it was excellent! They have a pretty good GF menu. Server was wonderful. I didn't get sick.
Yes
They have a decent amount on the menu but the server got our orders all confused and I ended up getting gluten items on my plate and got sick.
Altogether different experience than CO in Charlotte. Given how much I love the Charlotte location I’ve given CO Raleigh a couple tries but I have not enjoyed either visit as the GF menu is very limited and have had gluten cross contamination on one of the visits.
No
I’ve been there twice and both times had extremely positive experiences. The food is amazing, the offer gluten free soy/hot sauce and I have yet to get sick from it. Would highly recommend.
Yes
They have a great gf menu but the server and kitchen kept making mistakes on the order. They included condiments that were not gf and when I asked the answer was “I don’t know” and I had to keep prompting her to find out. I wouldn’t risk eating here.
I enjoyed my visit to CO in Myrtle Beach, SC. It was nice to have sushi I didn’t have to make myself. I had the Philadelphia roll and Shrimp fried rice. They had a gluten free menu. I’m two hours post meal and so far no reaction. (I normally react within 20 minutes.)

Good food. GF menu. Server knowledgeable.

NOT CELIAC SAFE! I called restaurant to confirm that could accommodate celiac disease. But when I got to the restaurant, the chef informed me that almost NOTHING is truly safe. Although there is a "gluten free" menu, none of those items are safe according to the chef and staff. The water and strainers are SHARED between gluten free noodles and gluten containing noodles. There is no dedicated fryer. All curries used shared, not clean, pots and pans and utensils. No care is taken to prevent cross contact. Don't be fooled. The staff has zero understanding of celiac disease

Great place to eat if Celiac. Have options and GF soy sauce. Server was knowledgeable.

Separate GF menu including GF sushi rolls! They brought out separate GF soy sauce and everything. The rolls were AMAZING

Sushi was so good! Also got the curry noodles and didn’t feel sick afterwards

Very knowledgeable staff and know to mark it in their system if you have an allergy. They have a separate gluten free menu. The food is always good.

Last night, through Uber eats, I ordered from Co. I ordered from the gluten free section and added a note saying everything must be gluten free (I have celiac). I received my order and noticed that only one item was labeled gluten free. I called the restaurant and they assured me that everything was gluten free, despite the lack of labeling. I opened a box and saw a fried pork spring roll. I called the restaurant back and explained that my order clearly was not gluten free; they apologized and said they would send me new food. Cool. Easy solution. An hour and 15 minutes passed (over two hours from my initial order) and I still hadn't received my food. I called Co and they said that they had just been waiting on a driver. At this point it was almost 10 PM, so I opted to cancel my order because it was late and undoubtedly my food was cold from sitting there for so long. An unfortunate situation, but these things happen.
Today, I still wanted Co. I ordered again through the Uber Eats app, but I wanted to do my due diligence. I called Co and explained the situation from last night and that I had just placed an order and wanted to ensure that it would all be gluten free. Of course, they assured me that it would be. I received my order and opened the container to find a fried edamame spring roll on top of my food. Immediately I called Co. The woman I spoke with assured me that it was gluten free and fried in a rice paper wrapper in its own fryer. I was still skeptical and asked her to double check. She "checked with the chef" (I assure you, she did not) and again stated that it was different from the pork spring roll given to me last night and was 100% gluten free. So, I ate it. But I didn't feel great about the situation and was starting to physically not feel well, so I called other Co locations. Every location unfortunately confirmed what I suspected. These spring rolls have a dough wrapper, they are not gluten free, etc. I then called Atlanta's Co back and the person who answered this time had the decency to be honest with me and also confirmed that the spring roll I had eaten was not gluten free. I will be sick for the next several days, if not longer. I am horrified that any restaurant conducts itself in this manner. No amount of due diligence will keep you safe if you eat at Co.

Has a GF menu and reportedly takes precautions to prevent cross contamination. The Curry Shrimp tested GF with Nima sensor. Pho and Thai Green Curry tested positive for gluten.

There have been mixed reviews (not on this site) about CO, but I decided to give it a try. So glad I did. I had the summer rolls, Hanoi noodles and an amazing curry laksa and had no issues. Our waitress was very helpful but as usual I asked repeatedly about what was GF to triple confirm there were no mistakes. A couple notes...someone told me that the wings are not GF despite being on the GF menu. My hubby had them and they appeared fried so I didn’t risk it. Also, the summer rolls are usually served with peanut sauce which has gluten so be sure to always ask about sauces (mine didn’t come with it but guessing this could be a common mistake). I was torn to give it three or four stars, but my dish was so good that I opted for four.
Spicy tuna roll was very good!
Good gluten free menu with sushi options. I enjoyed a great Rainbow Roll and Pho. The waiter was very helpful. I look forward to returning
Staff was very knowledgeable, had a gluten free menu. Food was excellent and portions were big! Highly recommended!
