Very helpful staff and we had no problems. The Kid is dairy free and I am gf. FOH staff confirmed with BOH staff ingredients of multiple dishes for us.
Food was excellent (we shared a steak, fries, and baked potato.). Would def go back.

Excellent gluten-free menu, clearly marked with a separate fryer for fries and wings. Perfect to help limit cross contamination. Even the sauces are clearly marked. Great job!

They have items listed as gluten sensitive on their menu but when I tried to order they REFUSED to serve me anything saying that nothing could be made gluten free. Terrible experience.

Don’t eat here if you are a Coeliac!! Friends choose restaurant for me as the Menu has lots of GF symbols. I talked to waitress and she explained that it means Gluten Friendly - the GF salad came with croutons, the GF fries cooked in Same fryer as all Breaded products. Avoid !

I was craving ribs so we stopped by Smokey Bones last night. The server was knowledgeable about Celiac and the menu was clearly marked. The sides are limited because the fryers have cross contamination but all the meats and most the sauces are gf. The Titos strawberry lemonade was also very good. Will go back to try other things on the menu.

Decent amount of items on the menu labelled as gf. Ordered a brisket platter (that comes with bread). Told the waitress I had celiac so cannot have any gluten. Platter was brought with a big piece of toast on it.
They took it back and assured me they made me a new plate. I ate reluctantly, but it all worked out and I wasn’t sick.

The server was very helpful and went above and beyond with making sure the garlic bread wasn't on the plate when we ordered a shareable meal. Also we ordered vanilla ice cream thinking it was GF but he said it was not. Very knowledgeable. Be aware, the fryer is shared so the fried items are cross contaminated like the wings and fries (even the smoked wings). Our daughter had a good experience considering she is very sensitive.

Server was not knowledgeable whatsoever, brought a salad with croutons after I specified I was celiac and asked for no croutons. They brought a new one out... but i didnt trust that they only took the crutons off and did not get a brand new salad. Never got refills, only received half my order, and missed the chicken on my friends chicken salad? It was a Saturday morning and they were not busy. As a server I understand both sides of the coin and even for me this was not it.

Yeah not great. Server wasn’t super knowledgeable. They served my meal with a piece of toast on it lol.
the wait time was crazy long on a slow night.
They do have a gf menu but I have no idea how safe it was, I’m intolerant having a mild reaction. The food wasn’t good at all, very dry. The best sauce was their ranch. I tried the wings and they were so dry. Steamed broccoli is just that, no seasoning. Baked beans were good, they are just beans though.
Wouldn’t recommend

Just an update since management has changed hands, THEY DO NOT HAVE A DEDICATED FRYER ANYMORE, THEY STATED THE KITCHEN WASNT SAFE FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME AND RECOMMENDED I DO NOT EAT HERE, NONE OF THE STAFF KNEW WHAT GLUTEN WAS, OR CELIACS DISEASE. thank God a cook recognized it and came out to inform me that anything smoked now was no longer smoked. it was fried instead due to new management decisions. The new management also took the dedicated fryer due to higher volume of regular customers not experiencing allergies. I was told by multiple staff members that the cross contamination was at an all time high and not to eat here.

Manager waited on us, didn’t order anything that should’ve contained gluten anyway (ribs & wings w fries, nacho appetizer), felt fine after and had a slightly upset stomach that night (i tend to have late reactions anyway), woke up with a swollen face and eyes, redness everywhere and pretty much stereotypical ‘gluten face’. I’m guessing cross-contamination but everyone was super nice and the food was fast and tasted great still!

Great service. Post wasn't sure where the gluten-free menus were as he had never been asked that before, but he went and asked somebody and found them. They were very accommodating and very understanding. Great service 10 out of 10 would go again. Just so you know gluten-free menu is more a list of what items are gluten free so that you can go through the menu and adjust anything to make sure that it is gluten free.

Lots of items are marked GF but they can't all be. For example, the fries es are marked GF but they confirmed they do not have a dedicated GF fryer. Waitress had no idea what I was talking about when I asked what was GF. She brought my food out with bread. They do not take precautions here so would not recommend.

I had smoked wings to avoid fryer contamination. I prefer dry rub vs a sugary bbq sauce, so I had the memphis rub with a bit of the recommended Carolina mopping sauce on the dip. I didn't care for it, but I'm a Yankee who likes TX style BBQ so š¤·š¼ā
there's GF info on menu and the hostess and server were knowledgeable. The wings were crisp and tasty, next time I'll try the brisket and see how close to TX style it is. Nothing comes close to Houston or Austin BBQ!

Take out update: looks like they no longer offer carry out food that is gluten free.
Update: they now have gluten sensitive menus that clearly state what is safe and what could be cross contaminated. Food came out perfect!!
Past review: So I dropped a star because they brought my food with bread on it. However, the manager came to speak to us and they remade my food completely. Very nice about it and quick to fix their mistake. Did not get sick and would come back.

Good experience!
GF items marked clearly on menu. Also online.
LOTS of options!
The server was very very careful. Example: I am Celiac. I told him I have a severe gluten allergy. I confirmed I was ordering all GF food. I confirmed the fries (labeled GF) were in a separate fryer. My husband placed his ordered and confirmed his wings were GF so that I could try them. The server then said there would be garlic bread on his plate if I was concerned about CC. I am! That was great to know! Later, the server came back over to tell me that the fries are cooked with the kids breaded Nuggets. Even though they are marked GF. Very glad he came back to tell me.

Waitress didn't know anything about gf offerings, I found markings on the menu. Said she was new. Brought me wings with sauce (I ordered gf dry). She wasn't sure what I was given. Told me the entire cook staff was new too. I don't get glutened sick very often but I was a an absolute wreck within 30 minutes of leaving, lasting 24 hrs. NOT a safe place at all, nor knowledgeable.
