Gluten-Free at Straw Hat Pizza

The gluten free pizza was good, very cheesy and didn’t give me a tummy ache! Tasty!

Good pizza, had to watch them like a hawk though. Owner/manager knew what to do but the general staff almost cross contaminated it by using the same sauce/spoon. Owner was on it though once I said something and pulled out a new sauce and took care of us. Had special trays to cook pizza in the oven and pulled a clean cutter out.

Told the cashier my normal upfront “i’m going to be a pain in the butt, I have celiac so please gluten free everything without cross contamination “ she understood and was certain to go talk to the kitchen staff and make sure they were fully aware of my needs. Two days later, still no symptoms! Super happy with another place to grab pizza :)

Said they took measures to prevent gluten cross-contamination, but I got sick from eating their GF crust and I’m not super sensitive to gluten. I won’t be going back.

Very well informed on celiac/gluten free requirements. Crust was delicious. Just great pizza and friendly staff.

I had an amazing gluten free pizza with dairy free cheese. The crust was thin not super thick and chewy like some other places.

New Management! Hadn’t been here for a long time because of past problems but ate here the other day. The crust was crisp and tasted quite good.

They have small-size gluten-free pizza crust. Pizzas were great.

Pretty decent crust. I always order the BBQ chicken, no red sauce, and haven't gotten sick.

The most disgusting gluten free pizza I’ve even had the misfortune of eating. It was expensive, cold, and took forever.

loved their gf pizza.... I took a chance on eating there because I wasn't sure about their cross-contamination however I'm happy to report I did not get sick and their pizza was the best I've had in a very very long time!

Really good gluten free pizza. They cook the pizza on a fresh piece of parchment paper and they assured me it doesn't touch other dough.

This is the best gf Pizza I have had by far. It tastes like real Pizza and they take proper precautions to avoid cross contamination. They have salad options too and most of the meats are gf.

I keep looking for a great GF pizza and keep coming back to Straw Hat. The crust gets cooked well and not burned at all. I love their sauce and they deliver!

Pizza comes in 10 inch only. Had pepperoni pizza it was good.. dough was rice flour and tapioca flour it was a really good rust. lost a star due to its size. they change gloves and have a separate cooking space for the pizza

My absolute favorite gluten free pizza joint!

Decent pizza, takes precautions (not letting crust touch pizza stone and different slicers) to avoid cross contamination. Staff is knowledgable.

The staff was great, the gf pizza tasted delicious but I didn't feel good at all that night , probably my reaction to cheese or possibly cross contamination I know they were taking good care to keep the gf pizza separate.

I could have bought the same udi's crust from raleys and made a better cheaper pizza.

Celiac here. I've eaten there twice. Some of the best gluten free pizza I've had. I've spoken to the owner each time about my gluten allergy. He takes gluten free very seriously. Pepperoni is also gluten free.

The gf pizza was so great! And the staff is helpful and very nice! Gf sandwiches coming! I can't wait!

They do not offer a cheese that is gluten free, so if your super sensitive don't eat here!! Salad bar us fine just don't use cheese or the blue cheese dressing.

The GF pizza is good but only comes in the small size. The crust is thin and crunchy, and you will need a fork & knife to eat it ( until the end, you can pick it up). The owner is super nice & attentive. They have some Omission GF beers available in a bottle that are good. I heard they might be getting GF buns soon for burgers!!!

Have eaten here safely several times. Salad Bar was not safe the one time I tried it. If you're getting a meal deal with free salad, there is a sink in the dining area and I have rinsed off carrots, etc. and eaten them safely. Same owners as Williams, CA.

Crust is gluten free, while all meat toppings are not. They are unsure if tomatoe sauce and cheese is gluten free. The white sauce and vegetables are only 'gluten free' toppings the can promise. Eat carefully if you are sensitive.

The staff is very kind and attentive. I eat there 3 times a month for almost a year and have never been contaminated.

I called before I went to make sure they had gluten free pizza and they said yes. When I got there I ordered the gluten free crust and I asked if their pepperoni was gluten free and they said it wasn't so I decided on mushrooms and pineapple. They asked if I wanted white or red sauce and I said whatever one is gluten free and they said none of the sauces or meat toppings are gluten free, only the crust was gluten free. This Straw Hat is independently owned so other restaurants might have gluten free. I'm going to find out if any of the other ones in the area have gluten free but I'm still very disappointed.

Wow! Surprised to find this Gluten free pizza available. Thin crust and well cooked. No dairy free cheese but I ate BBQ chicken pizza and didnt even miss it! Owner responsive and friendly. Also has selection of GF beers.

Could not tell the difference in the gluten free crust and normal crust. Was good all the way around.

The gluten free crust is amazing! I've ordered multiple times and honestly can't tell the difference between what I remember the "regular" crust tastes like... plus, they deliver! Wonderful! Since I thought my days of getting anything delivered were over!
