The fries are not gluten-free per the linked allergen guide
Great for celiacs! Make sure they still have a separate fryer if you visit.
When I asked if they had gluten free options they showed me an allergen list. I had read that some places have a dedicated fryer so I asked about that. They said the fries are in their own fryer and are gluten free. I asked if I could have any chicken and they said they have “naked tenders” which are essentially grilled chicken strips that are fried in the fry fryer. They do not put any breading or flour on these tenders. The employee also said that they make sure the naked tenders and fries have no cross contamination risk by putting them both in that dedicated fryer. I felt extremely comfortable ordering here after the employee was aware of cross contact. Since we can’t have the toast, they said I could get more fries or coleslaw; I opted for more fries. The tenders were tender and had a little crunch from being lightly fried. Great food!

They have a fryer dedicated to their fries - You can order “naked bird” and your chicken will be fried in the fry fryer to avoid cross contamination. However, I am not sure if they change gloves when handling “Naked Bird” orders. I don’t believe their sauce is GF, as I think it has Worcestershire in it.

The good: they have naked tenders you can order and they are very good.
The bad: no dedicated fryer for chicken or fries
Staff not knowledgeable at all about GF.

They have a fryer dedicated to frying unbattered, as they call them “naked”, chicken tenders and the fries are fried separate from the regular chicken.

Not safe at all for celiac. If you’re regular gluten free and are fine with cross contamination the fries are probably a decent snack, if celiac you should completely avoid.

This is in regards to the review saying their sauce is good, their canes sauce is not gluten free.
They have a dedicated fryer for frys and gluten free chicken nuggets called naked bird nuggets. We have eaten there many times and me nor my daughter have ever gotten sick.

Cane’s has a naked bird…so it’s chicken tenders fried without the flour coding. I had the naked bird and fries with no issues at all.

Fries are gluten free in a separate fryer. I had to ask twice about the fryer situation, so I don’t think they’re cooked separately to cater to celiacs. Eventually I got the answer that they’re cooked alone but I advise asking before ordering. They were pretty good! I was just happy to feel included when my friends were ordering food here. Their sauce is also gf and yummy with the fries.

I just got the fries bc I was in a hurry and didn't want the wait but the fries are made in their own fryer! Naked wings I'm not sure about, I did ask and canes sauce is not gf :(

Disregard previous review saying that they have GF options. I went to their website and the nutritional pdf says it all has gluten. I even called their location and they said that they have no gluten free options

The "naked" chicken does share a fryer but is otherwise gluten free. Great tea and lemonade. Fries/fry sauce are gluten free

In general this is not a restaurant that will be able to guarantee no cross contamination. That being said, the staff there was very communicative in the gluten friendly options available. Basically any chicken can be made naked, bread can be subbed for fries, and the slaw/cane sauce is gluten free.
The frier is not fully dedicated. Sometimes when there is a large rush of orders chicken will be fried in the frier. That being said, during the time I was there the manager made sure they had not been cooking chicken in the fry frier that day. For those with a serious allergy avoid the fries and contemplate finding a different place to eat.

The magic word here is "naked." The chicken fingers aren't breaded, but still fried in (most likely) the same fryer. They were delicious and not nearly as heavy as the regularly fried chicken fingers. Yum!

Ask for naked tenders and double fries instead of bread. They cook everything separately. The sauce is the best!!

Fries do not have a dedicated frier and my request that some of the food items be separate were not met. Would not recommend this specific Raising Canes for anyone with a gluten intolerance.

IBS--Gluten Sensitive. Had their Naked chicken strips, fries, and sauce for two evenings in a row (while out of town) and I felt fine. Love their chicken. Skipped the bread of course.

Canes will fry your chicken unbreaded! They call them “Naked” and they are very good. Their fries and cole slaw are both gluten free as well as the canes sauce. Ask about dedicated fryers at each location.
No dedicated fryer as reported. Staff thought we were a bit touched when I mentioned previous reviews. Manager was also confused and refunded our money for the confusion.
No
Last time I tried to get food there, the chicken fryers were down, everything got cooked in the fry fryer. Who knows how often this happens or if they do any CC clean up afterwords. I am not willing to take that risk
This place is awesome. Get the naked chicken fingers with the fries. All gluten free and all awesome. Too bad I'm not from NOLA. But when I visit my sis I'll keep coming here.
Yes
Naked chicken strips are the best! Even my gluten eater family member prefer them over the regular. This Canes location goes the extra mile for their food allergy customers.
"Naked" chicken strips were great! Nice to find a fast food restaurant that is accommodating to GF needs! Sometimes when traveling you just need something quick! This was a perfect option for us.
There is nothing gluten free. Except drinks and coleslaw. This should be removed from the app.
No
Naked Fingers. Not celiac friendly but an option for those who are avoiding gluten or aren’t too sensitive.
No
Not gluten free friendly. I would stay clear unless you just want tea for your meal
No
I go to this canes quite often and request naked chicken tenders. They fry the naked tenders in the separate fryer with the French fries, which are also GF!
Unless you’re just eating coleslaw & cane’s sauce, this restaurant is not a good choice.
No
I asked the staff if they had any gluten sensitivity options and they informed me they could cook chicken without breading in a different friar pan and had it ready for me in a matter of minutes!
While you may at certain locations be able to get the fries at certain locations GF that and the coleslaw is all you'll be eating. In case your wondering the sauce is gluten free so you could always order it and put it on your own chicken at home.

Brought my family of 5 for GF dinner to Las Vegas Centennial location and was informed that our options for GF was the honey mustard sauce, another sauce, the lemonade and the iced tea.

Whether or not they offer gluten free food is at the discretion of the management on site.

The location on Main in Norman does NOT have a dedicate fryer anymore, so fries and naked fingers are no longer safe.
No
Has options for those with gluten sensitivity but not necessarily guaranteed for those with celiac. The chicken is available without breaking and the sauce and fries are both gluten free.
No
Contaminated fryer. When customers want extra crispy, they put the fried chicken in with the fries.
No
Still delicious but order fries with caution because it may or may not be cooked in the same fryer
The Fries @ Cane's are GF! they are fried in separate fryers than the chicken!. To get GF chicken request that NAKED tenders get fried with the fries. I suggest you talk with a manager until you know a location knows how to accommodate you.
Get the naked wings! They are GF and dairy-free. The sauce & cole slaw are always GF. Most locations have a dedicated fry fryer (ask to be sure). I've been told some locations don't offer naked wings, but every Cane's I've been to has offered them!
Yes
I asked and they delivered. I called and spoke with the manager on duty to see if I could get some of their "Naked Chicken Tenders" (totally off menu btw) and he said that it would be no problem. I arrived, and was shocked at the stores willingness to work with me. They do not have a dedicated fryer, so for those who are super sensitve via cross contact, you might still want to avoid, but I don't seem to have many of those issues, so this was the perfect lunch for me!
They prepare something called "naked" chicken fingers for me and it's still fried in oil but there is no batter! Also, the sauce I believe it gluten free and it is delicious
