I called the restaurant before ordering on doordash about getting a salad and what their allergy policy was and they wrote down my name and said they would get everything from separate containers for me. It was so kind and I appreciated it so much. Definitley give this place a try

Used their allergens/restrictions guide on their website to decide what to order. Got a Salad and a small Turkey Sausage & Kale Soup. To be honest, I’d get just a large soup next time. It was really good and the salad was okay.
A lot of cross contamination! Depending on when you go there, depends on the situation. Older shorter woman is decent. There was a younger girl working when I went in last and there was pasta in the lettuce. After requesting new gloves, I saw the pasta in the lettuce and asked if I could get fresh where they have it separately. With her hand she grabbed the pasta and some of the lettuce, threw it out, then with the same glove grabbed lettuce for the salad and stated “what’s the problem.” I had to leave as it wouldn’t be safe to eat. Haven’t returned since.

While the staff was not knowledgeable on Celiac at gluten free, I was able to navigate their menu and find something I could eat. I had the Bentley salad which was essentially a salad with ham, Turkey, tomatoes, egg and bacon so very similar to a Cob salad. Ohare in general is one of the most challenging large airports for gluten free options in my opinion.

I had an excellent experience here! As soon as I indicated that I had Celiac, my order was taken and the server immediately removed her gloves and indicated she would be happy be prepare my salad separately in the back in a dedicated area. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. I had no problems at all and would definitely return!

Staff is very helpful and will make your salad separately in the back to avoid any cross contamination. Just let them know it’s for an allergy and they will accommodate. We eat here often with no issues!

Huge shoutout to Jacob and his team for keeping me safely gluten free! My husband and I had a salad and “You Pick 2” salad/soup combo today. We’ve dined here before several times, both before and after knowing I had celiac and always had great experiences. It has been a challenge finding restaurants that understand that I not only that can’t eat gluten, but that measures need to be taken so cross-contamination doesn’t happen. Today our experience was exceptional! I told Jacob that I had celiac. He immediately washed his hands, donned new gloves and even got out new containers for the ingredients going into my salad. (BTW most Saladworks salads are gluten free.). He double-checked that the tortilla strips were gluten free in a nutrition notebook , and I was given an optional apple in place of the roll. My salad and soup were fresh and fantastic, as usual. If you’re looking for a celiac-friendly place to eat, check out this Saladworks!

First visit thus spoke with the manager. Although unfriendly, she was helpful and provided a list of GF salad dressings and said she could bring out a “new” salad topping” if I thought something might be cross contaminated. I was able to have them assemble a tasty salad without getting close to the croutons. Her staff was pleasant and attentive to my celiac needs.

On their website you can choose your dietary needs and there are many gluten free choices! Almost all salad toppings and dressings are included.
Only one salad dressing is gluten free - don’t waste your time.

Found a bit of pasta in my gluten free Cobb salad.

It’s a safe choice; it’s like the Panera of salads. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Simple let them know you’re GF & they’ll explain which salads, topping and dressing you can do. Easy.

I went to this location 2 weeks ago. When I asked them to change gloves for gluten "allergy", the girl quickly said she'd get all my food from fresh containers in the back. I had no issues later. Will go back.
Some things are good. Salads without croutons
Pretty decent for an airport salad to-go

The cleanest and nicest saladworks that I’ve ever been in. The food here is always fresh. If you have an allergy they take care of you here. Since it’s so healthy and tasty you’ve got to expect it to be a bit more pricey than regular fast food, but still worth it.

This place took excellent precautions. Only 3 stars because the salad wasn't great. It was very bland. The chicken in my salad was similar to what you'd get at a fast food chain.
Delicious healthy salad and soup option. There is an allergen wizard on their webpage. I got the black and bleu salad is amazing!
Some gluten free salads, but have to look online to see which is which. Good enough.
Asked them to change gloves for my salad and they did! Chicken Tortilla soup is clearly marked gluten free and was delicious!
Many gluten free option. Be careful choosing something adjacent to pasta as it sometimes drops in and cross contaminates.
Yes
They warn about cross contamination, but I've never had issues if they change their gloves. i had a build your own salad 5.5.17 and ate 95% of it when i bit into a crouton. been sick for 2 days. I shouldn't have risked it, but an entire crouton mixed in is pretty bad.

I find a noodle in my soup. The salad bar was messy... how about be more careful with allergies and people that have celiac.
The staff was very knowledgeable about all the menu items which are safe. They prepared my salad in a bowl and with utensils that were not used for any other items.
