Unrefined is always a winner in my book!! The pizza was delicious and the cherry chocolate cupcake was to die for! Yum.

Extremely rude staff. I walked in to get a cupcake (lemon) and was asking for suggestions for dinner and one staff member walked away from me glaring at me. I made a purchase but traveling to a new town, eating gluten free can be extremely stressful. I thought it was a staff place where to get GF seafood. they were extremely rude about sharing which places were safe in the area.

For being known for their desserts the cupcake was not the greatest. Sad service and for being a gluten free facility I do appreciate but quality is lacking.

Great food and kind staff! When my online order was messed up because of a website error they gave me my order for free! I can't recommend this company enough because the staff cares about its customers.

I was really upset about not being able to get the food I had planned on eating for the week. It was an technical error so nobody's fault but still would have made my week really difficult to find new meals for me to eat last minute. I am so thankful they gave me my food despite the issue. Since I had been driving around for 30-45 minutes to their other location, they threw in some extra free desserts to make me feel better about the inconvenience. I can't thank unrefined bakery enough!

Their online ordering system is not good though.

Their “Chex mix” is a family favorite!! Pies are also delicious!! Great variety and they’ll let you sample just about anything!

Blueberry muffins were pretty bland and one at least had a huge eggshell on the top of it. Pretty disappointing since I was looking forward to a dedicated bakery. I'll go back and try something else, but was really hopefully with the muffins. Pretty sad to say they were very tasteless.

Went to a gluten-free bakery chain, Unrefined Bakery, in Frisco on Saturday. There were NO disclosed prices anywhere except on whole, refrigerated cakes.

What's with businesses not disclosing prices? I'm not going to stand there and point to each item and ask the price. I want to know so that I know if I was over or undercharged. I've been to gluten-free bakeries where a single cinnamon roll is $8 before tax. If they're $5 each, I'll buy 2. If they're $8 each I'll buy 1 and I'll split it with my husband. Businesses lose money not disclosing the price upfront.

My husband ended up getting a coffee, a pumpkin cookie which had the texture of pumpkin bread and a carrot cake muffin and we shared. I'm not risking a $50+ afternoon tea bill so I didn't order anything.

While they tasted perfectly fine, I want to know the prices before I order. It had me on edge.

This place was great! No room for sitting and eating, but there’s a bench outside. Pizzas were delicious as were the desserts! They also have a fridge area with full cakes, pies, and sets of muffins. Everything gluten free!

It is difficult to find both gluten free and dairy free in the same product. This bakery has both. Everything I have tried has been fantastic. I especially like the pies and cookies. The prices are well in line with other gluten free stores.

This is my second time going to this chain and the staff is nothing short of amazing. I went to a nearby Mexican restaurant and left hungry because everything but the avocado and lettuce had gluten. So I walked here and got a yummy Turkey sandwich. I left with cupcakes and cookies too! All yummy and I was so happy

We stopped in yesterday for some dedicated-GF snacks/breakfast options and were so excited to see all the distinctions between vegan, dairy-free, dairy-full, etc. options. The woman working there right off the bat asked what all we liked to avoid or were allergic to, then marked up a printed sheet of all their items that were dairy-free. They also had a bunch of samples out to try. I picked up some frozen dairy-free cinnamon pecan muffins, 2 types of vegan whoopie pies, and a bag of chex mix. The whoopie pies are superb, the chex mix samples in the store were also great but we're saving it for the flight home. The muffins are a little underwhelming--not very cinnamon-ey and kind of an odd texture--but to be fair, I'm not able to reheat them the way the instructions say to in the hotel, so I'm sure they'd be better coming out of the oven. The cupcake samples also had that odd texture though so could be the flour blend/recipe.

🤩🤩🤩 wow! I wish I was driving back to MS instead of flying, I would have stocked up on everything. The bakery was started by a mom/daughter Celiac duo! The sandwiches are a little small, but all GF bread is small, I’ve found. On that note, it’s the best GF bread I’ve ever had! The lemon & strawberry cupcake was so yummy. Next time I’m in Dallas I’ll definitely be coming back here!

There are two GF offerings that must be preordered (3-4 days lead time). The GF seed bread and the GF cinnamon bread were exactly the same bread and texture. The cinnamon bread had seeds in it just like the seed bread with a bit of cinnamon on top. I was disappointed as it was basically the same bread. They both tasted like a dry quick bread. Will not purchase again.
