Awesome place! Everything is gluten free and everything is labeled with what it is free from. Great for soy and dairy free people too. Had a delicious sandwich and the non-GF people with me really liked the food too. Would definitely go back if in that area again. Bonus, the guy working was sooo nice and there were free cupcake samples!

Unrefined bakery has been my go-to bakery for years!! However recently they started baking all items with avocado oil which is a bummer as I am highly allergic to avocado and it’s such a common allergen for anyone with a latex allergy or asthma. I am so sad about this change because their products have always been truly delicious!

This is a dedicated GF place with delightful pastries and to my surprise, sandwiches. As I'm not only gluten free, but also grain free, they took precautions to keep my paleo portion of the order separate from my husband's regular GF sandwich and pastry. When I apologized for the need of separate bags, they told me this was the last place I would ever need to apologize for special requests. The young man was so very kind while answering all my questions and alleviating my concerns and and the young lady prepared my order correctly. I did not take any enzymes prior to eating their food and feel perfectly fine. Thank you!

Every option here is gluten free. Really great texture: moist and didn’t fall apart. My gluten free partner said it’s one of the best cupcakes/whoopie cookies she has ever had. Definitely recommend.

To say I was disappointed is an understatement. My best friend and I came in not long after the store opened so excited to try some of their items but we were sorely disappointed when we realized they had very minimal options ( a couple cupcakes/ cookies) in the display case AND they were FROZEN when we went to bite into them. Their desserts are NOT fresh, they are frozen and then pulled out before opening the store. If you’re in a pinch you can have them warm up your cupcake and it’ll taste better. Out of the three things we bought the Lemon cupcake was the only thing that didn’t taste bland and that melted in your mouth

Really loved the carrot cake, lemon and chocolate cupcakes. My husband was a fan of the Derby burbon pecan pie and brown velvet cake. My kids loved the pina colada COW and the chocolate chunk whoopie pie. Fabulous to have a great place that addresses all of our allergies.

The staff was very knowledgable and the baked goods were delicious! I am Gf with an egg and nut allergy which can make life difficult, so finding little gems like this place are such a special treat.

I don't want to tell you what to do, but you need to go here. Was the best GF bread I've ever had (5 grain). And I got multiple cupcakes and all were delicious. They said their employees even sign a contract that they'll never bring a gluten item in the building for their own lunch or snacks so there's no potential for even a little CC. Staff super helpful. 10/10.

I did not have high hopes for Unrefined Bakery. Often, I’m very disappointed with the offerings at 100% gf places. But Unrefined did not disappoint. It was delicious. I highly recommend their muffins and cup cakes. Haven’t tried the bread yet …

We were visiting from Oklahoma for a three day swim camp. My daughter was diagnosed with celiac a little over a year ago, and it has been difficult to find places where there is no cross contamination. Unrefined Bakery was just what she needed! We visited each day we were in town. Cupcakes and cookies were delicious, we ordered pizza and took it back to the hotel and it was delicious as well. Picked up hamburger buns and blueberry muffins on our way out of town and they were amazing! Highly recommend!

Extremely rude staff. I walked in to get a cupcake (lemon) and was asking for suggestions for dinner and one staff member walked away from me glaring at me. I made a purchase but traveling to a new town, eating gluten free can be extremely stressful. I thought it was a staff place where to get GF seafood. they were extremely rude about sharing which places were safe in the area.
For being known for their desserts the cupcake was not the greatest. Sad service and for being a gluten free facility I do appreciate but quality is lacking.

Great food and kind staff! When my online order was messed up because of a website error they gave me my order for free! I can't recommend this company enough because the staff cares about its customers.
I was really upset about not being able to get the food I had planned on eating for the week. It was an technical error so nobody's fault but still would have made my week really difficult to find new meals for me to eat last minute. I am so thankful they gave me my food despite the issue. Since I had been driving around for 30-45 minutes to their other location, they threw in some extra free desserts to make me feel better about the inconvenience. I can't thank unrefined bakery enough!
Their online ordering system is not good though.

Blueberry muffins were pretty bland and one at least had a huge eggshell on the top of it. Pretty disappointing since I was looking forward to a dedicated bakery. I'll go back and try something else, but was really hopefully with the muffins. Pretty sad to say they were very tasteless.

Everything was gluten free and most was dairy free. We ended up eating breakfast and lunch there. Everyone was so nice and I learned they ship out of state! We will be back!

Went to a gluten-free bakery chain, Unrefined Bakery, in Frisco on Saturday. There were NO disclosed prices anywhere except on whole, refrigerated cakes.
What's with businesses not disclosing prices? I'm not going to stand there and point to each item and ask the price. I want to know so that I know if I was over or undercharged. I've been to gluten-free bakeries where a single cinnamon roll is $8 before tax. If they're $5 each, I'll buy 2. If they're $8 each I'll buy 1 and I'll split it with my husband. Businesses lose money not disclosing the price upfront.
My husband ended up getting a coffee, a pumpkin cookie which had the texture of pumpkin bread and a carrot cake muffin and we shared. I'm not risking a $50+ afternoon tea bill so I didn't order anything.
While they tasted perfectly fine, I want to know the prices before I order. It had me on edge.

This place was great! No room for sitting and eating, but there’s a bench outside. Pizzas were delicious as were the desserts! They also have a fridge area with full cakes, pies, and sets of muffins. Everything gluten free!

It is difficult to find both gluten free and dairy free in the same product. This bakery has both. Everything I have tried has been fantastic. I especially like the pies and cookies. The prices are well in line with other gluten free stores.
