Staff was very knowledgeable and assured me that precautions would be taken to prevent cross-contamination. They will clean the utensils and it tastes great, many options. They were very busy but managed to keep my dessert safe!
I had vanilla custard with hot fudge topping. The girl who took our order checked with the manager to make sure the topping was gluten free. I am very sensitive and did not get sick.
The custard is gluten free and some of the toppings like cherries, caramel, pecans, etc. I wouldn’t risk the blended options for celiacs like himself who are extremely sensitive due to cross contamination issues. However, I enjoyed a delicious sundae with caramel with no problems!
Will clean machines if you let them know you are celiac. Ice cream is gluten free, some of the toppings are but some aren't. They were able to guide me with which toppings were gluten free for the toppings that I was unsure of.
The staff knows Celiac! Brought a Nutrition Facts brochure to me and helped me go through the toppings. Also, manager made my treat himself, washed done everything he used and the work space! Awesome service!
They were very knowledgeable and had procedures in place for gluten allergies. Recommended getting a sundae so I didn’t have to worry about cross contamination of their blenders. Delicious ice cream and no reactions yet. It is not a gluten free kitchen so I can’t say that it’s celiac friendly but it is intolerance friendly.
Website said chocolate custard and hot fudge would be GF. Asked staff about the scoop - they said each flavor has its own designated scoop and not to worry. My Nima sensor detected gluten, so we did not eat. My guess is cross contamination
The chocolate and vanilla custard are gf and is delicious! Just ask them to clean the machine before they make your order (they're happy to oblige). *I had the chocolate concrete with peanut butter cups :)
The custard is gluten-free, and when we let the cashier know we had an allergy, he put it into the computer as a specially prepared dessert and had the manager make that item. They made sure to clean the machine before making it. We just needed to be familiar with the mix-ins that we could safely have (I got peanut butter and have been fine)They also had very sweet and friendly staff.
Super unhelpful. None of the managers or employees had any idea which products were gluten free and didn't seem to care that the corporate office and website had said they could provide that info. Won't be giving them anymore business.
On their website, they state that both the chocolate and vanilla custards are gf. Pick safe toppings and ask them to be cautious because of an "allergy" and you'll be just fine! It's delicious too!
