I’ve been going to Bostons for over 10 years now and it’s in my top 3 places for best gf pizza in grand junction. They have other options as well but the pizza is so good that’s all I’ve been getting here for as long as I can remember. They have a variety of gf toppings aswell. Just clarify your needs with your server and they’ll red flag and change gloves for everything. The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 safety stars is due to possible cross contamination from other gluten items being served in the restaurant but I am sensitive and have never gotten sick.
Our gluten free pizza was baked until it was black not only on the edges but the underside completely. The outer edges of the black crust were so hard you couldn’t bite through it. The waitress said “oh that’s how we make our gluten free pizza here” and left, not concerned that our food was disgusting. Needless to say don’t order. And just pass on by this restaurant if you have gluten allergies.
We ate here with my son, who has Celiacs. He ordered a gf pizza with black olives. He was not a fan of the taste. It had a lot of sauce and ended up using a napkin to dab off the excess on each pizza. He has had a lot of gf pizza and is pretty easy to please. But he really didn’t care for it here. We are staying nearby and had planned to eat there twice because of the positive reviews on here. We ended up going somewhere else for dinner for night 2.
First off, the staff was incredible when asking about gluten contamination. We had traditional barbecue wings (make sure waiter knows no cross contamination and they will get it for you!) the traditional wings have no dredge just skin. The gf pizza was AMAZING. Overall amazing food!
OUR NACHO'S WERE LIKE SHIT, LOOKED NOTHING LIKE THE MENU PICTURE, GREASY NOT APPETIZING, WE SPENT 42.00 ON NACHO'S THAT RESEMBLED A PAN OF DOG BARF, OLD LETTUCE, TAKE PRIDE, YOU WENT DOWN HILL, WE HAVE HAD THE NACHO'S BEFORE AND MADE A TRIP JUST FOR THEM, DISAPPOINTMENT. I have to say we have had some great food here. GF as a choice due to autoimmune reasons. Love to split the ribs. GF pizza is great with lots of toppings. Tuesday after 9 everything was half off. The burgers are amazing!
I was very impressed with the gluten free food options and the service! They had a cauliflower pizza crust that was gluten free and did not have even a hint of cauliflower taste!! Thin and crispy too! I also have other food allergies and they were great about making sure my food was safe!
If you are interested in a cauliflower crust pizza this is a great place. Otherwise there are no other menu options, so look elsewhere.
As a former employee in frequent customer and here to see that this place does have a very good selection for gluten-free. Some of the newer waitresses may not know as much as our waitresses who have been there for much longer but I promise you there is much to choose from! From zoodles which is noodles made from zucchini to Pizza they have it all! don't hesitate to ask!
The gluten free pizza that I ordered was similar to cardboard in taste and texture. I was glad that they only let me order a small one. The service is below par for any type of restaurant and it’s apparent that customer service is not very important here.
The staff wasn’t knowledgeable at all. Asked for a gluten free menu. They said “We can’t find it, I know we have one.” after 20 minutes they brought a full on nutritional guide, which made me uncomfortable and didn’t help at all. All they could say was that the spinach and artichoke dip was a gluten free option. Anyways, I ended up just ordering that and a salad without croutons, add grilled chicken. They brought a salad with croutons and no chicken. Then brought the spinach dip with the regular bread, not the GF cauliflower chips. Overall was super unimpressed and felt like they didnt care.
They have gluten free pizza crust that was not great. Otherwise, they have very little on their menu that was gluten-free, and when I asked about gluten free options, they brought me a huge binder that lasted all the caloric and nutritional information about each thing on the menu. I had to comb through the binder to figure out which items didn’t have wheat.
Their new menu doesn’t have gluten free beyond pizza but pizza is yummy
This restaurant has gotten a million times better with new safe practices of handling gluten free items. A majority of the pizza toppings are celiac safe and they take precautions. Some of the wings are even safe! My boyfriend has celiac and this is our go-to fancy date place for gf pizza, wings and loaded fries for an appetizer! Our absolute favorite. I definitely recommend.
The pizza was very good and they had a wide variety of toppings. They also had quite a few salads
The gluten free pizza crust is not worth eating. The food here is generally in the ok range. service level depends upon your server.
Great food, couldn't tell it was gluten free.
Good selection of different items on menu.
Staff was very friendly and eager to help, especially our server, Alissa.
Update: the loaded cheese fries may not be gluten free, even though menu says they are gluten free. No separate fryer for fries. Otherwise the gluten free pizza was good.
wonderful service by waitress Melissa and kitchen manager. bent over backwards to satisfy our questions.corporate allergen list difficult to decipher but they were excellent. we had salads. they offer gf crust and will accommodate sandwich without bun. if allergy told to waitress, have separate utensils and area in back.
We've been there a few times because my family enjoys the food there, it is good for sure if you don't have Gluten issues. However, both the staff and the manager are unsympathetic to gluten issues, they can't tell us what does and doesn't have gluten and the menu does not show GF options. They don't even have a GF crust. Don't go there.
I got a gluten free pizza here and it was very good! The staff were knowledgeable about cross contamination and made it a great experience!
Very good pizza. I have never had a problem here!
