It grills the patties on the same grill that they use to warm the buns

This is a good place for a lettuce wrapped burger but they don’t have any actual gluten free or specifically celiac friendly options. The custard is good but be mindful that it contains eggs. They do have a user friendly allergen menu on Google as well.

The meat is so thin it’s mainly fried blood! I got sick eating the fries Do not eat the chili that’s for sure Ice cream is good but that’s the only thing
They do have lettuce wraps for all of their burgers. They marked my order as an allergy, but don’t know what happened in the kitchen.

I asked if the fries were fried in a separate fryer!!! Yes!!! Also they offer a lettuce wrap, but the burger was greasy, so didn’t stay well, but delicious. 2 thumbs for Freddy’s!

I have not reacted to the shakes, sundaes, fry sauce, or fries from here. (Though I did recently learn the fries are NOT made in a dedicated fryer.). I reacted to a concrete. The frozen custard tastes good, but there’s not many other gluten free options.

Love Freddie's for my burger fix. They place in a lettuce wrap then in a paper wrap to hold the sandwich together. The fries are always a great option without the seasoning.

Their online menus has allergy information and it’s very detailed! The fries are NOT in a dedicated fryer but are no t breaded. They offer a lettuce bun option so I got that and a double cheese burger. I felt ok eating here :)

Nothing here is gluten free, not even the frozen custard. I got a cup of gummy worms and M&Ms for my son and a drink for myself. Super disappointing. Zero options. But at least the staff made an effort to find out when I asked, and didn’t just tell me they didn’t know.

Upon ordering I saw that a lettuce wrap was an option.
I let the server know I was Celiac, the manager promptly came out and said he would oversee my meal to make sure it was prepped separately.
I felt very confident that the food would be safe given the attention, however just after finishing my wrap the symptoms started… def cross-contamination.
Even though they tried their best, the possibility of cross-contamination is just too high. Not worth it

I was recently diagnosed with a gluten intolerance so I’m still learning what I can and can’t have. I have found that I can have a Freddys burger on a lettuce wrap without negative effects. Thought I would share so maybe someone else has options too.

Bri was very helpful. She did tell me that the fries are not safe at all. So be sure to check.
Freddy's does not offer a gluten-free bun or a dedicated fryer. However they do offer a lettuce wrapped burger and Baked Lays potato chips as a side option. In addition the allergen information on their website also identifies the chili, custard, and several toppings do not contain gluten. We always inform the staff that she is celiac and must strictly avoid gluten. She has never had any problems after eating at Freddy's. Freddy's is one of our main go to for a quick lower risk gluten free meal.

Manager was great about listening and doing her best to meet the high level of care celiac food needs, and had the order restarted a few times when something wasn’t made carefully enough. I tried the restaurant several times, since such a strong effort was made and their food was really good. But most times I still had a reaction. =(
They have a fryer they sometimes keep gluten free but sometimes use mixed for busy periods, so that’s a bit of a risky option too.
Highly recommended burger joint for non-celiacs. Great food and fantastic customer service even if not celiac safe. Review is a celiac star rating, but is otherwise 4.5/5 stars.
Probably safe enough for gluten sensitive, but not set up for the total avoidance of cross-contamination needed.

I eat here often and never get sick. I tell them I'm gluten free, they tag my order and notify the kitchen. I've watched one person change gloves, make my entire meal, plate it and bring it to me to ensure no cross contamination. You can have plain custard as well so you don't miss out on anything here.

Staff not knowledgeable about gluten. According to website, should be able to order lettuce wrap burger (like you can at Five Guys) ... however, on the two occasions we have tried, the staff was unfamiliar with concept of gluten free and included fries in bag with GF burger, despite being told gluten allergy and not wanting them. Five guys is exceedingly careful by comparison.
They don’t put any gluten on the grill and they Lettuce wrap anything you want and you can get their regular custard w/o anything it awesome

Corporate website boasts several GF options. The manager at this location says none of their items are gluten free.

I got a kid’s meal burger as a lettuce wrap and it was great! I got french fries too with no problems, and the concrete was amazing! The staff was nice and accommodating.

Staff was very knowledgeable and assured me that precautions would be taken to prevent cross-contamination. I got a lettuce wrapped burger and it tasted great! They were very busy but managed to keep my meal safe!

There is a list of all allergens on all menu items available online. They do offer lettuce wraps and ice cream flavors that are gluten-free. Unfortunately, the fries do not have a dedicated fryer.
Great tasting food! Not a great place for people with celiac disease. Very little available.
No
They'll lettuce wrap your burger, but they told me they didn't have a dedicated gluten free fryer. They told me I could risk it, but since they occasionally fry chicken or onion rings they can't guarantee it. Looks risky all around for those with celiac.
No
GREAT PLACE!! Freddy's is like In & Out and Steak & Shake (from back east). Loved the way they totally enclose the burger in lettuce so it's not so messy. Burger had great flavor with just onion. The way they do it is much better than In & Out! Fries are shoestring type, cooked in a dedicated fryer, and come in a large serving with the meal option. My wife (not Celiac) and I shared a frozen custard that was fantastic! If you're traveling and a Freddy's Steakburger, don't pass it by.
Yes
I saw a review on trip advisor that said their fries are gluten-free as well as their frozen custard. Also, they are accommodating to wrap a burger in lettuce as to avoid needing a bun.
Definitely not gluten-free friendly. At least they are kind enough to post a notice that basically tells you that they don't care to even try to help people with allergies. Fryers in shared oil, etc. I would have zero confidence eating here. My son ate and I watched.

The staff was knowledgeable. They offered lettuce wrapped burgers. They have a dedicated fryer for their fries. Lots of options. Very impressed!
