I appreciate the plentiful gluten free options (especially the milkshakes!) but this location is really dirty inside as others have mentioned, the fries were just a small box of small 1in or smaller potato bits, and the lettuce wrap on my burger was ridiculously huge. There was so much lettuce that I couldn’t even bite the burger without removing most of it, which just is a waste of food. There was grease and trash all over the floor of the restaurant and the person who took our orders didn’t smile once.
I would highly recommend this Larkburger for people with celiacs. The Burger’s are great, and the GF bun looks so much like a regular bun I would have been suspicious it was not GF except for the fact that it was labeled GF with stick that said “Gluten Free”. They have a dedicated fryer for french fries. Delicious.
We were so excited to find this place during our travels! Everything was gluten free minus if you got regular buns/bread. The burgers are excellent and the fries are delish! No symptoms or problems after eating. Only wish we were closer to eat here more!
Best fast food burgers in town!! GF bun option is available. It is an additional cost. The bun only comes in the full size. So you can order the small burger but it will come on a regular size bun if you want the GF option. Fries are amazing!!
When served, they practically threw our tray. GF burger touching the regular. The burger was cold and not cooked. Yuck. I do not send food back, ate 1/2 of it, and got sick. Big mistake. This is a wannabe restaurant.
My daughter is Celiac, and we've eaten here probably 3 times without a problem. Their fryer is GF, and they have GF burger buns. The food is upscale fast food that's delivered to your table fresh and hot upon arrival. But sometimes I'm nervous because it can be very busy and chaotic, and I'm not always confident the youngsters working there aren't going to make a mistake in the same way that I'll say no onions on my burger, but there are onions anyway. So yes, celiac friendly, but do tell them you're celiac, don't assume you're safe if you order a GF bun. Also the place is often messy because of all the kids, so not a date night place.
I had a bunless burger, fries and strawberry shake and everything was wonderful! Three of our children had grilled cheese on GF buns and fries. Fourth child had grilled chicken sandwich on GF bun with fries. All the kids finished their food (very rare!) My husband had a chocolate shake, burger and fries. We were told everything is gluten free in the restaurant except for the buns. I have celiac and didn't react. My son wth celiac didn't react either. If you can consume dairy, go for the shake!!
awesome awesome burgers! soon after I went gf I ate here and loved it, it helped me realize that there are good options for gluten free if you know where to look. I've since moved but try to visit whenever I'm in town
Had kale salad with miso-sesame dressing and tuna on top, and my goodness it was delicious. If you order things to go, make sure that they keep gluten-free and gluten items separately. They have gluten-free fries (nothing with gluten on menu goes in deep fryer, only the fries) and gluten-free ice cream cones (none with gluten). My husband and toddler liked the gluten tuna burger.
The only thing on the menu that is not GF is the standard bun. Their gluten free bun is good, and the sauces are AMAZING. The chicken burger has "crispy jalapenos" which have a GF batter. Their fryer is GF by default, because they don't fry anything with gluten. Their milkshakes are amazing, and they have GF ice cream cones! (GF bun is dairy-free, and their veggie burger is a roasted portabella mushroom instead of soy.)
