First time diner here, and have had no issues after 5 hours. Cross contamination usually causes rumblings within a few hours. They have a good variety of gf options - couple chicken items, couple seafood items, burgers without any bun, a number of safe sides, but not the fries.. The staff seemed knowledgeable about the options. The food was delicious and prices were very reasonable.

Absolutely nothing available. Not even salad, they premake salad with croutons and pull them out.

Walked in and was told, “You can have a salad, all our seafood and steaks are cooked on the same grill.” We left. Not sure why this place is on GF Finder.

Food is always delicious! A bit disappointed in the new menu change but there are still some gluten free options!

I have eaten here several times and I have never had any problems. When I inform the server that I have a gluten allergy, there has never been a problem. I have even had a manager check to see if the food was good

The original ribs/sauce are gluten free. They were prepared celiac friendly. Had mashed potatoes on the side. Delicious!

Best RIBS!! I have been here a couple of times and by far the best ribs I have ever had. It’s a little bit pricey but trust me when I say it’s worth it. Nearly everything on the menu can be done gluten free. Every side is gluten free aswell which is awesome. If you go you must try the loaded mash potato! Absolutely insane flavour:) Highly recommend

No gluten free menu but the chef manager came out and told me all of my options (pretty much the entire menu), and assured me that they would use new pans, and could even make fried optiona grilled instead. I had a ribeye, with mashed potatoes, asparagus and an add on of baby back ribs. Everything was delicious. I felt very comfortable eating here and will come back again

I have many food allergies beyond gluten. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They cooked my food separately to cut down on cross contamination. They do not have a dedicated gluten free menu but many of their selections can be made without gluten.

I've eaten here twice & had one good & one bad experience. First time was excellent, food was tasty, server was knowledgeable. Second time was the opposite & I ended up getting sick.

Excellent food. Our waiter, Joshua, was fantastic. He made sure none of my food contained gluten or soy. I ordered the St. Louis ribs 1/4 rack as an appetizer and the steak salad as my entree. He informed me the steak is precooked and seasoned. The seasoning contained gluten but that was easily remedied. They cooked sirloin steak with out seasoning on a separate and clean grill away from other food containing gluten or soy. I will definitely go back. Joshua informed me of any potential issues and came to me with what was happening and ensured me he would make sure I was eating safely. Absolutely no reactions. So impressed.

Waiter had no clue what I was talking about. another Waiter flew by and said no, nothing gluten free.

Ribs are gluten-free. They've got good gluten-free sides, as well. Their four signature barbecue sauces are all gluten-free, too.

I am writing this review so that anyone who dines at Tomy Romas location on International Dr. is aware that the management team does not drug screen nor do they do background checks on their employees.( Please check out waiter Alex Erdner) I personally know of one waiter that has been fired from other restaurants for steeling customers information for identity fraud schemes. He has been arrest about ten times for reasons such as this along with selling drugs and assault charges. A simple google search would have revealed this information. I fore one am Celiac and like the food at this restaurant, however it truly is unsafe to dine there. My suggestion is go somewhere else until they make some very important changes in who takes your credit card information.

I was happy to see a gluten free menu. The waitress seemed to have heard about celiac disease. She mentioned to the manager there was a celiac in the house which prompted a visit from the manager to my table. She touted their gluten aware menu but then proceeded to tell me they cannot ensure me of a safe meal due to the fact there is gluten around the kitchen as well as one complaint in particular over cross contamination. I appreciated her candidness but thought I should mention it regardless. I stayed and had no issues afterward.

Looking for options at EWR we weren't sure what GF options we'd find. As luck would have it we were standing in front of Tony Roma's. I checked the web to see what was out there on the restaurant and found that they do have options. We thought we'd check w/the staff before we sat down. Our waitress though not familiar w/celiac was aware of their GF options. She knew what was gluten free and what wasn't. We were a bit nervous about to get on a 5 hour flight back to Phoenix, but, were hungry and she did make us feel comfortable that she and the kitchen knew how to handle GF and was aware of cross contamination concerns. The food was decent and in the end no reactions and thankful we asked though Tony Roma's didn't show up on FMGF. Overall, I'd say if we're through EWR again we know we have an option here.

Not many options for the gluten-free crowd. No GF menu or specifications on the menu. Pleasant server who seemed to know a little about which items were safe. I was able to order a steak and lobster tail for $11.99. It was quite good and I had no ill effects.

Exceptional service. The manager worked with me to ensure my meal was taken care of to my satisfaction and answered all my questions honestly. After two weeks on the road and a lot of glutenings from other places, it was a nice way to end the trip. Thank you Tony Roma's!! FYI I had salmon, a baked potato and broccoli. Check out their allergy menu for a comprehensive list of what you can have.

They do have a gluten free menu but their staff is extremely unaware of what that means or what exactly is on their gluten free menu. The server told me they didn't have one, and then comes out with one. I was unsure so I switched my loaded mashed potatoes for a loaded baked potato to be safe

Ribs are decent, as already stated, most sauces are GF. The only thing keeping them from 5 stars is slow/inattentive service. Each time we have gone there the server was very nice, but service was slow, and we had to wait long periods for refills, etc.
