Hello , I’m traveling to NYC soon specifically Times Square any recommendations for a pizza place or any other restaurant , bakery that is safe for Celiac ? Thanks

blocksley It’s down by the Brooklyn Bridge but Ketse is great for Gluten Free pizza. Near Greenwich village area and lower Manhattan are Senza Gluten has an Italian restaurant and a Cafe & bakery that I would recommend. Near them is Posh Pop Bakeshop. Friedman’s is not dedicated but a good choice and I’ve found it very safe.
jessica72156 Senza Gluten (Italian), Modern Bread and Bagel, and Noglu (bakery) are all dedicated gluten free facilities and delicious! I second Keste (separate kitchen for GF) for pizza…so good! And Claro (dedicated GF) in Brooklyn has really good food too!

Keri Modern Bread and Bagel is seriously THE BEST! Order early. Also, if you like Chinese go to Lilli and Loos (sp). The Little Beat has grain bowls, too!

OhHaley Friedman’s at the Edison is super convenient if you’re staying in Times Square area. Safe for celiac, even for delivery via Uber Eats!
OhHaley And definitely try Lilli & Loo if you can make it up to Lenox Hill/Upper East Side. GF dumplings, tempura shrimp, and amazing sushi!! It’s a must try if you are in that area.

susan127608 The Friedman’s (inside the Edison Hotel) at 228 West 47th Street between 7th and 8th Aves is my “go to” place in the Times Square area. I also like Nizza, 630 Ninth Ave between 44th and 45th Sts. Nizza has a GF menu. I enjoy there, socca pizza made with a chickpea crust.
wendy4400 Eataly right by the World Trade Center is absolutely fantastic for GF pizza- and the best cappuccino I’ve ever had. Second vote for Modern Bread and Bagel- I went back in to double check that they are GF- fantastic NY style bagels! Enjoy
