While I was able to eat without getting sick, the food is not very flavorful. If you don't like spicy food, this is your place. I do live 7 miles from Mexico, though, so I'm used to authentic Mexican, and this is not it.

This was disappointing. I got a tamale which obviously had been frozen and stuck in the microwave to heat up. When the waitress served it, it was way too hot to eat. It took about 10 minutes to cool down enough to eat. Even then the cheese burned the roof of my mouth. They were expensive for what they are and bland. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. They may have gluten free options. But I won’t be returning.

nice restaurant, separate but limited GF menu. Baked chips given as regular tortilla chips are fried in shared fryer. Server even brought me my own salsa dish to avoid cross contamination. Food was ok, plenty of it...but it was not my style of Mexican food. Too jazzed up for me but I appreciated the effort put into caring for my meal.

Delicious food and knowledgeable servers and kitchen staff. Huge portions. GF menu is limited, but includes tacos, chips, and fajitas and salads.

The staff was very knowledgeable. There was a great selection for gluten-free and were even able to answer questions about dairy as well. I do wish there was kid size plate options available.

It was okay. I didn't get sick.

love abuelos!! defiantly a great place to go especially if you have other allergies besides gluten as well. The head chef came to the table and talked to me about my allergies and helped pick the best meal for me.

This is ok most of the time. They do have a gf menu, and most of the servers we've had have an awareness of the gf menu. They will bring out baked chips on request. We seem to keep going there anyways until we noticed a pattern: we always order the chicken nuggets for our son, and a few times they have come out raw in the middle. Um, gross. After a few occasions of that we stopped going.

Poor service and overall knowledge of gluten free options. ***chips are NOT gluten free. The food was ok, but not impressive.

This place needs Gordon Ramsey. Got glutened bad, food super bland and my kids could make a better taco. Stay away if we have any gluten allergy.

Not sure about everyone else’s reviews but I would never go back here!

You’d have better taste making your own food

Very knowledgeable! Baked chips (mostly okay, some weren’t cooked all the way through and chewy) and salsa. I had the tacos with refried beans and seasonal veggies. Very good!

They have a small area on the menu for “Gluten Sensitive” that lists several good entrees. I usually get soft tacos but have also had the shrimp fajita salad. They do offer GF chips if you ask but I do not like those.

I had a great experience! The manager and waitress were very helpful. The waitress checked to make sure salsa was good and brought me my own. Also brought me baked chips. Waitress confirmed gloves were changed. They reassured me all the gf items don’t come in contact with gluten items. Definitely recommend.

It was fine. They baked some chips but they were awful. The tacos were good!
