Brunch is no good for celiac. Our server said there is lots of flour all over the kitchen even though there is a separate fryer and that the waffles for the fried chicken and waffles are prepared in the same waffle iron as the regular gluten waffles. So I don’t think it’s safe anymore even for dinner if there is that much flour everywhere. It’s a bummer because when we called the person we asked on the phone said it is safe for celiac but our server told us definitely not. So we left after looking forward to this for weeks.

The restaurant is a fixed course restaurant, changes each day. I went not knowing what to expect. It was fantastic. The server was very knowledgeable, even bringing me homemade biscuits instead of regular bread on the table, dessert was donuts and sipping chocolate, my donuts were GF! I didn’t believe it and had them double check - SO GOOD. I get sick with cross contamination (I didn’t get sick! They were careful) and I was so happy with the flavors, quality of food, and how I didn’t feel “different” but totally part of the dinner scene. Wish I lived there so often could go each day.

I was so looking forward to the fried chicken but learned they no longer have a Gf dedicated fryer. I had the trio menu of buttermilk salad, BBQ chicken and strawberry shortbread. The salad and chicken were tasty. Strawberry shortcake was hard and tasted like it had too much baking soda. The dishes were not marked GF and I had to ask if the food was GF. The waitress kept my GF card. Following the meal, my stomach is bloated and feels uneasy. Edit- 24 hours later I feel like I’ve been glutened. I loved the atmosphere but cannot recommend this restaurant.

Came for the brunch that in the past has been able to be done completely gluten free even the FRIED CHICKEN, but sadly was told that they no longer have a dedicated fryer so they could make it gluten free but would be using the same fryer they fry every thing else so for sure cross contamination. Left very few options since their menu is pre-set. Beware! Not gluten free as they were in the past!

I personally do not have Celiac’s but my boyfriend does and the staff was very knowledgeable about how to accommodate to make appetizer/entree/dessert gluten free. My boyfriend felt totally fine after eating here which is the ultimate test. Had great salad, skirt steak and polenta, and gluten free brownies. They also have a delicious gluten free biscuit.

Make a special trip to this place. Unbelievable gluten free experience! Was able to get everything on the menu GF! Even the shortbread cookie crumble on the dessert can be made GF. My non-GF husband said the GF fried chicken was the best fried chicken he had ever had GF or not! Highly highly recommend.

Got SO sick here. Was extremely bummed because the reviews were so great about cross contamination. Not sure what got me sick but I had cheese, gluten free biscuits, and a pork chop with mashed potatoes and veggies. Was told I’d be safe but got so so sick.

Unreal!! Very knowledgeable, had GF alternative to everything on the menu. Don’t miss this restaurant, worth every penny. The fried chicken will blow your mind!

Yes! 🙌 Since being diagnosed 7 years ago, I just assumed I couldn’t eat here. But had some free time and read some reviews and wow was I so glad! How could I forget Thomas Keller would have options using Cup for Cup!? I’ve never had a GF biscuit, what a treat. Our dinner was naturally gluten free (quinoa salad, skirt steak with chimichurri and polenta). Was able to have the toffee bread pudding dessert! Woohoo!

First visit last night for the fried chicken. Hubby was brought regular fried chicken, mine was GF, fried in dedicated oil. lovely GF Blondie for dessert. Totally taken care of. A splurge, but where else can this happen? Note: restaurant serves same dinner to everyone every night, with a revolving menu. Fried chicken is every other Monday night.
