Server was horrible and brought my meal out with a regular English muffin on top of my eggs. I questioned her and she acted mad but took the plate back to make it right. Brought another egg dish out with just the fruit. Asked her what about the grits? She claims the grits are not GF. I question why are they listed on the GF menu then? She then said she needed to check with the chef and hastily walked away pushing through the kitchen door. Her attitude and lack of knowledge is why I wrote this review. This place is not safe especially for celiacs. I have eaten here in the past and they have always gone above and beyond to make sure the food is safe. She never did address the grits when she brought the check, once again confirming she did not care one bit. I will give my business to other local places that actually care about their customers.

Great food. Great experience! They ask when you walk in if you need a GF or VG menu. Staff seemed knowledgeable. They served it with a wooden stick to show it was well mark as GF. The bourbon street pancakes and shrimp and grits were fantastic! The option for gluten free bread was also very nice! Would definitely return for more!

Wonderful gf, df breakfast. I had an omelet, potatoes, and toast. Their gf bread is brown from Simple Kneads. The waiter was knowledgeable and my bread was toasted in the oven. He was friendly and was aware of food allergies and cross contamination. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The waitress here was not clear about GF items and I wound up getting sick after eating here.
No
Only had gluten free pancake and eggs for celiac friendly options. Everything else is cross contaminated. The pancake was good, but as thin as a crepe and not worth the price paid!
My husband and I went here for breakfast in Charleston SC and it was amazing!!!! Best omelet I've had. They also substituted my muffin for gf pancakes! Very pleased!
Our waitress Leslie was exceptional and pointing out which items were gluten-free and which were not. When I ordered a few things and did not pay attention to what was gluten-free and what was not, she ensured that the items I received were all gluten-free.
The city grits are exceptional. You have not lived until you've tried them. If you never make it here and try them it will be your loss.

Good service and GF knowledgable. Offered to cook potatoes in separate fryer if I was celiac sensitive. Lots if options on the menu including quinoa.

Awesome place. Went to the one in Biltmore Park for brunch. Very knowledgeable about Celiac. Did not have any reaction so will def go there again.

Have eaten at several locations of this cafe and have always had a wonderful experience. This location was no different. Enjoyed a scramble and was able to easily substitute GF pancakes in place of the potatoes which were not in a dedicated fryer. Staff was knowledgeable and accommodating!
Great place with lots of GF options. Both my husband and I were very pleased with our dining experience. I had GF blueberry pancake and he had a veggie omelette. GF items are clearly marked on their menu.

We loved this place, went several times. Their menu is gluten friendly but felt safe eating there after our waitress’ extensive knowledge. Really great sandwiches and breakfast items.

Awful breakfast. Gluten friendly menu but no separate toaster. Overpriced and I barely ate my eggs because they were drenched in butter. Grits were gross and I couldn’t get the bread toasted. My daughter liked the pancakes.

Terrible place, food was mediocre and didn't feel safe. They have a "gluten friendly" menu, whatever that means. Skip this place.
