Second time this year visiting. Excellent quality and taste and no problems. Very knowledgeable staff. Sauces are GF, try the habanero. Duck, chicken verde, Baja fish … great place.
I went here twice in the past couple of days. Once I had a salad and chips and green salsa. The other time I had the chicken tortilla soup. Both were excellent. I appreciate the large variety of GF options at Bar Taco.
Food is delicious, items that CONTAIN gluten are marked - almost everything is gluten free. Nice atmosphere. Note that there is no street or lot parking so you’ll have to pay to park, but totally worth it for this place. Highly recommend.

I got a rice bowl and the duck birria quesadillas and both were amazing! Their menu labels allergens and most of their stuff is gluten free. You can also select allergens when you order so they know what to be careful with.
The menu is GF except for desserts and kids menu. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. No GF bee4, but lots of cocktails and tequilas.

Awesome place! GF marked on the menu. Lots of choices. You order via your phone and you can select which allergies you have. Delicious food, fun atmosphere!

I LOVE BarTaco. Will forever be one of my favorite must-eat places in Stamford. Most of the food is gluten free, so much so that they actually mark the ones *containing* gluten on the menu. The duck tacos are my absolute favorite. Their drinks are so fresh and the chips/salsa/guac trio is a must order.
good. the menu is marked but the ribeye is unsafe (soy sauce) the waitress caught it.
Only non-gluten free items are called out on the menu. Was able to identify gluten as an “allergy”. Even recognized that the beans I ordered had gluten and modified it to plain black beans instead. Celiac safe with no negative reaction to the food
Have eaten here several times. Chips and guacamole are excellent. Can’t go wrong with anything you order taste wise. Tacos and rice bowls are great. Most of the food is spicy. The menu does not label gluten free items but rather marks the items that contain gluten like they do with other allergens.
Unique atmosphere. Delicious food. Very allergy aware.
Always my go to restaurant when out in Stamford. And they have the best margaritas!!!!
The staff was very knowledgeable about Gluten and Allergies. They have items containing gluten clearly marked on the menu. Ricky, the manager was awesome!!! Even double checked that the soy glazed tuna was made with Tamari. Will definitely be going back!

Fast, friendly, safe, AND very tasty! Christian, the manager was very forthright in the options, knew about cross contamination and alerted my server before I was even seated. Server was also very knowledgeable . When I had a moment of celiac panic as I tasted soy sauce.....before I could finish my question- "tamari- enjoy". Sighs of relief from entire table! Too bad I didn't live in the area or this would be my go-to place as it's great for non celiacs as well!
There is very little on the menu that isn't gluten free. The tacos are very good and there is a nice selection.

Lots of choices of items that don't involve gluten, tacos are all made with corn tortillas. I've been to this location and Port Chester a few times and never had any bad results.
Great menu. Almost all GF except for a few items that have a separate prep area. Delicious and quick.
All the items on the menu are gf except for 3 dinner options and 3 dessert options. The staff is very knowledgable about gluten intolerance. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Stamford.

Bartaco is a cute taco restaurant that has amazing tacos and guacamole. Everything on the menu is gluten free, except the kids menu, and can be made dairy free. I got the lime shrimp tacos, very spicy, oyster taco, and the pork belly tacos. I loved them all.
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! I love this place. Variety of options and never had an issue. I go a lot and have tried almost the whole menu. Definitely recommend if you are gluten free (celiac). They take great care of you.
Many gluten free choices! Delicious food! The waiter assured me that most of the menu is gluten free and pointed out dairy free options as well- and double-checked with the kitchen too. I loved every bite.
