The food was excellent. Most of the menu is gf. Items that contain gluten are marked. The pork belly taco was wonderful (could have been less sweet). Runners up we're the duck birria, chicken verde, and sesame rib tacos. The lettuce wrapped ahi one was a bit bitter for my taste. The plantains and sauce were very tasty. And none of it was crazy expensive.
My dislike was the lack of actual menus on the table. If you're going to do a hybrid virtu service, then it needs to work. It didn't, which meant we had to wait 15 minutes to get paper menus and order. It wasn't elegant at all and had the good not been good we wouldn't go back.
The atmosphere was crazy loud. We couldn't hear each other speak, including the servers. As someone hard of hearing that was a hard strike, as well.
All of the tacos are gf! Many yummy options - chicken is actually the best! Also, gf chips! Great variety and low key vibe

I ordered the pork belly taco and shrimp taco. I really loved the pork belly tacos! The shrimp ones were spicier than expected, even without any sauce on them.
Bartaco is my go-to safe restaurant. They have a dedicated fryer in which they make the best fish tacos. Their food is always on point and they make great cocktails too. Highly recommend!
Very celiac friendly and they were very careful. Staff knowledgeable and this was the 1st time I've been able to enjoy lobster tacos. Highly recommend.
My favorite go to local spot. The majority of the menu is naturally gluten free. I’m also egg free and it’s easy to modify to accommodate both needs. The ordering is easy. The food comes out quick and I have never had a reaction and I’ve come here a lot. The plantains are the best! Do not skip them!
Bartaco is one of my favorite restaurants. We have eaten at this location many times and I’ve never been glutened. Everything on the menu except for the kids meals (flour tortillas) and desserts is 100% GF. They fry the entree items using masa flour (corn) in a dedicated fryer. Upscale street tacos and other items to choose from. Love the fish taco, the oyster taco, and the pork belly taco. All tacos are served on delicious corn tortillas. Their fresh salad is always a fave for me too.
I did not get sick from eating here! Staff was nice about putting a note into the kitchen. I feel like they were bothered or confused by me asking if the corn tortillas were 100% corn though, to which my waiter replied “they’re corn” ? But their menu is very gluten-free friendly
This made my heart and stomach so happy! Gluten free and soy free indications on menu. The margaritas are delicious. Chips and guac everything so fresh fast and yummy
Very good food and flavor. Most of the tortillas are corn tortillas, unless you ask for flowers tortillas. Easy to get allergies selected in the menu for cross contamination.

This restaurant is one of my favorite. Most foods are gluten free or can be made gluten free except for desserts. The bowls, tacos, margaritas and salad are all exceptional! Service is great!

My absolute favorite place to order for ease of ordering and overall trust factor. They make it so simple and everything is clearly marked. Chips are delicious and corn tortillas for the chicken tacos are sooo yum. Highly recommend.

Almost everything on the menu is GF, which was nice, and the food was great. Their churro style plantains were super good. Everything has a ton of onion and garlic so it’s not really fodmap friendly, but that’s to be expected.
I had such a great experience at Bartaco! Nearly the whole menu is gluten free, with only a few exceptions. ALL of the delicious tacos are gluten free - even the Baja fish which is battered (such a nice treat). Would highly recommend eating here, the food is high quality and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. They take great care of their customers!

This is a corporate chain taco place, but damn if it ain't good. The majority of the menu is GF. And everything I've tried is tasty. I've probably been here too many times at the expense of my other local taco joints. Shout out to Taqueria la Vaquita and Super Taqueria!

Most everything is GF. Separate fryer. A lot of mixed drinks are GF. I had a yummy mojito. This is not a traditional Mexican restaurant. There is an Asian Fusion twist

LoVE Bartaco. I've been to both the North Hills and the Chapel Hill location and eaten with no reaction. I love their guacamole and chips (fried corn tortilla) and their grilled corn. I've yet to have a bad taco (I've had the baja fish, mono pork carnitas, crispy rock shrimp, and glazed pork belly. Both the fish and shrimp tacos have breaded and fried protein made with a cornmeal breading that was so good that I verified its lack of gluten multiple times. On their menu, they have so much that is already gluten free that they mark what does contain gluten as opposed to what does not. Absolutely love eating at bartaco!
The staff is very knowledgeable. Food is awesome. Sensitive Celiac and no issues after several visits.
Love this place! They have cards to write down your order with an area for allergies and they always verify verbally. Only a few things are not gluten free and they take precautions. Kids meal is not gf so I always ask them to switch the flour tortillas for corn, which they do no problem. The food is great as well! Even gf falafel tacos and breading is rice based on fried foods!
The food here is delicious and all their tacos are GF. They also have options besides tacos. They are careful with cross contamination. I’ve been here about 10 times and have never been glutened.
The staff here is always great. Great gf options. Tacos are on corn tortillas so no need to worry about asking. There is also a Bibb lettuce option. They do have wine and gf cocktails and gf beer! It’s not clearly labeled. The new Belgium gluyiny is gf (crafted to remove gluten). I’ve never gotten sick here.

Everything on the menu is gluten-free except the desserts and kid's menu quesadillas. On fact, only items with gluten are identified. Everything is made fresh daily. Server is very allergy conscious and informed us of preparation protocols. So many options to choose from. A fantastic dining experience.

This is the best gluten free option in coconut grove!! Super safe. My server immediately told us that every menu item is gluten free except the kids quesadillas and a few of the desserts, and when I told him about celiac he said he would warn the kitchen ahead of time. You order everything on your phone, and there is an option to mark each thing you send to the kitchen with“gluten allergy”. I felt entirely safe and didn’t get sick. Also, all the food is incredibly delicious.
