My daughter has celiacs. The pizza is really good here and they took extra efforts to keep her pizza separate and safer. They want to take care of you, you just need to ask . It’s more gluten friendly than most. She ordered the gf pizza - they have a silicone tray that they cook the pizza on. The toppings didn’t have a separate area, but the main ingredients did, they also will change out gloves upon request. Make sure you specify to use a clean cutter when ordering - if you don’t it won’t be done.
Advertises gluten free pizza, but it’s not gluten free. There is a big risk of cross contamination. I asked if they did the GF food on a different station, but I was told no, done all on the same line (and they touch the utensils on the bases). This place is not safe for coeliacs. I managed to get a salad as the lovely cashier got someone to get me a clean salad, but this place should not be advertising gluten free as it’s not (they do however have signs saying it’s not completely safe).
I was wary given prior reviews but I had a fantastic experience here (I have celiac). When I ordered GF, the server asked if it was a preference or allergy. When I said allergy, she flagged the order sheet with a bright yellow sticker and called over a particular server. The order was taken to a separate kitchen in the back to be prepared. When it was ready, a special separate cutter was summoned. There are 3 different types of GF crusts, and you can even order the lunch special (half pizza and side salad) as GF, something I’ve never been able to do elsewhere. And finally, it was delicious! Really good and I didn’t get sick.
I got cross contaminated and even though I asked them to be careful with it on the online order, they were super busy so probably didn’t take it as seriously. It’s good food, just be careful
Not safe for celiac. They changed their gloves and have a separate line the pizza goes through. It is the same oven but they have a dedicated spot for GF. The staff very knowledgeable and friendly about going above to ensure safety. I had no problems and would eat here again, but really taking a chance as it goes in the same oven and the dough press is also the same. Pizza was delicious though and we made our own veggie GF pizza.
Great service. It was no big deal, they knew exactly what to do. The only thing is the paper they write your order on comes from an area with visible flour. This ends up touching your pizza at the end.
They have gf crust, use a separate cutter, and will get safe ingredients, however, the mats they use to cook the gf pizza are not cleaned in between uses and there is no guarantee that the oven down side will not be the pizza side the next time so there is a huge chance of significant cross contamination. I ordered a pizza because i was assured it would Be safe but after watching how it was made i didnt eat it and gave it to my friends.
They have HOMEMADE gluten free crust! I ordered that and they asked if I wanted everyone to change their gloves, which they did. They took me over to a separate section to choose my pizza toppings so I wouldn’t get any cross-contamination. The pizza was so delicious, affordable, and I felt great after eating it!
I explained the severity of my allergy to the first person who started making my pizza and had the entire cook line change their gloves. They asked me if i needed my pizza fired away from the other pizzas and they put my pizza on a special mat to avoid cross contamination. They kept my pizza paper separate from all the others and even used a separate CLEAN pizza cutter for my pizza. Great experience!
The staff was knowledgeable about gluten & celiac. I have a very serious reaction to gluten and I may have felt a little upset stomach but nothing really crazy. So, this place is okay but there are so many opportunities for cross contamination so it only gets 3 stars for me. If you have a clear conversation about your allergies, you can get employees to change their gloves, fresh (from a different container) toppings, and a separate cutter. Overall okay place. I wouldn’t go back just because of the risks.
Staff was knowledgeable about Celiacs. When we arrived we asked to speak to a manager. We were told to tell them at the counter that it was Celiacs and gluten free. Standard procedure is to change gloves, put it on a special mat for the oven, and they have dedicated utensils. But they will also ask you (or you can ask them) to take the sauces and toppings from new containers in the bottom covered cabinets rather than the regular toppings line. Highly recommend doing this! You can also watch the process the whole way to make sure they take your toppings from the right place and don't put it in contaminated areas. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm a sensitive celiac and I had 2 pizzas there and did not get sick at all. They take great care as long as you take the time to talk them through all of your allergy needs. Great homemade gf crust too! Can't wait to go back.
Update- I’ve gone back twice more since my original visit. You need to be VERY clear with them about instructions, but if you are, the experience is great. I’ve had no issues.
Greeter host walking the line was nice and informative. First person behind counter was not so nice in fielding my gluten free questions and acted inconvenienced. The crust was uncooked in 3/4 of the pizza, gummy, and had no taste. I would not recommend.
Amazing gluten free pizza and totally customizable will change gloves for topping bar. There is an issue for cross contamination but I go every other week and I've never had a problem.
Excellent pizza. They will have the food handler change gloves before preparing you food. I'm also soy free and they were very accommodating. Located in Disney springs. I'll certainly eat there again.
Many GF options. I’d rather pay for a GF BYO pizza here than a frozen GF pizza for the same price + less fresh toppings. They remade my pizza, saying there was a CC issue and I really appreciated the honesty and willingness to restart for my safety. 10/10 would recommend GF pizza from here. It was delicious!
