Very nice. They happily changed their gloves.
Yes
They are very consistent in keeping gloves and equipment separate. Love that they have vegan cheese - with my additional dairy allergy I rarely get gluten free pizza with cheese. What a treat!
When Blaze first opened, I was incredibly impressed with how seriously they took my allergen. That seems to have changed over time. I went in today, and first the person who was going to cut and plate my pizza took it off the baking shield (used to prevent cross contamination in the oven) and placed it on the same surface used to cut all the other pizzas. Luckily, my husband noticed him do this, and we had a manager remake it. Unfortunately, as the remade pizza came out of the oven, the pizza plater used his contaminated gloves to spread out the paper my pizza would sit on before changing his gloves to touch the actual pizza. When my husband and I confronted the guy about it, he started arguing with us and told us, "there's a sign up front that says there are risks." While I agree that there are unavoidable risks (such as with gloves touching toppings), placing the pizza on the wrong surface or not changing the gloves before touching the surface the pizza will rest on are completely avoidable risks. I ended up asking for a refund, because I wasn't about to wait for yet a third pizza with no assurance of the pizza being handled right.
I am no longer willing to rate this place as celiac friendly. It used to be, and used to be fast, cheap, and delicious. Maybe it will be once again if they can properly train staff who give a damn. Certainly the owner cares, and at least one manager, but everyone else is a toss up.
No
Great topping options. GF crust is pressed on separate machine. Request glove change. Sauce comes from separate container/spoon that hasn't touched the regular dough. Separate cutter at end only for GF pizza. Baked on plastic sheet to protect from other pizzas, although It IS cooked in same oven, so I suppose a very minor CC issue possible, but has never occurred for me.
The BEST pizza! They have gluten free and dairy free options which is awesome. I’ve never had a bad reaction here, the food is excellent and the staff are very knowledgeable. They change gloves, utensils, everything. I love coming here!

Pizza was good until I got severely ill. May not be cross contaminated while making, however once it’s in the oven it’s fair game as it’s touching everywhere normal pizza is fired.

They DO offer gluten free crust ***BUT*** refuse to work with you to keep your order gluten free!!! The will ONLY use the toppings that are out (& already cross comtaminated🥺) worse reaction ever when I asked them to use fresh gloves! I left without making a purchase.

I really liked this place and felt safe. They put the dough on a mat so it’s not on the same surface as the gluten pizza when cooking it. They changed the gloves and made sure no one touched my pizza with gluten hands. They have a certain sauce just for gluten free pizza. They got ingredients from the bottom that weren’t touched and used a clean pizza cutter to cut my pizza. They didn’t seem to mind accommodating. I apologized for being complicated and they were just like it’s not that big of a deal.

Don’t eat here! I got such attitude on the gluten free ask. The girl was so put out that she didn’t even get the toppings from a clean container. I paid for the pizza and threw it out. I will never go there again!!
