We shared a broiled shrimp tapas along with the grilled octopus. The blood orange sangria was fabulous! Very knowledgeable staff.

We stopped into Boqueria for appetizers & drinks before another dinner reservations and enjoyed it overall despite a very limited selection of celiac-safe tapas. The hostess showed me a print out that listed which items on the menu contained gluten but almost half of those marked GF are actually cross contaminated in a shared fryer. The servers and runners however were very knowledgeable and made a point to let me know that something we had ordered was cross contaminated and that I should avoid it, which made me feel safer. I ended up with the broccoli and the olives which were both delicious. The sangrias were all very tasty as well! Probably a good spot just for drinks & snacks rather than a meal.

I went here with a friend (I’ve previously been prior to my celiac diagnosis and really enjoyed it).
As others have said, the menu is not marked, but my server was very knowledgeable and marked it for me. She noted what could be modified and what was fully GF. She also double checked on the patatas bravas and confirmed they are fried in the same oil and other items containing gluten, so that was out, but I appreciated that she thought to check that (I didn’t realize they were fried to ask myself).
The food I did have was very good, and the restaurant itself has a fun vibe, although it can get pricey quickly as you add on tapas orders.

Really great experience!!! Manager came over with his pen and marked what was safe on the menu, what could be modified to be GF, what was technically GF but cross contaminated (ie fryer), and then what was just “no” for GF. He checked each plate placed in front of me, and then at one point also double checked with the kitchen for me about the one modified dish without me even asking. Food was incredible and very fresh! I had the brussels sprout salad and tuna crudo. Felt comfortable and well cared for throughout the entire meal!

No GF menu, but server was very knowledgeable and marked up menu to show what was GF as prepared and what could be modified. I was satisfied with the selections and enjoyed several tapas - ahi tuna, tortilla espanola, octopus, eggplant, cheese plate with bread plates separately (no option for GF bread or crackers). Ambience was nice and our group all enjoyed dinner.

My partner was looking a place for us to eat after I finished a day of meetings. This restaurant looked interesting, so he went inside to ask if they had gluten free food. The host wasn't sure, so he got the general manager. She marked up the menu with all the gluten free options. We came back that evening, and the host and manager both remembered my partner! They were happy to see him. Our server also marked up the menu and talked to the chef. She wanted to be absolutely certain I knew what food was safe. The food was great! The atmosphere is lively and hip. We had a great dinner of tapas.

Very good and lots of options for gf and df and vegan options the tastiest tapas in NYC! They are super accommodating to all kinds of allergies, and they have the best steak in the world medium rare. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for an easy fun environment with good food and it’s not heavy.
