Not celiac friendly

My only disappointment ever at a Thomas Keller restaurant. There is NO dedicated gluten free fryer, so steak frites are off the menu. Their gf crackers (no gf bread) are made from pecans. However, service is nice and friendly.

Celiac friendly

Call ahead for reservations as this place gets busy. This Thomas Keller restaurant is delicious and takes food allergies seriously. I have gluten, shellfish and allium (onion and garlic) allergies. Andy, our waiter, was very patient and knowledgeable. I had amazing medium rare lamb with squash puree, and ordered mashed potatoes and spinach as sides. No reaction three hours later which is my test for restaurants. Go here if you have a gluten allergy and have been missing fine dining.

They were extremely knowledgable and had delicious options! This was an amazing lunch! Their French Onion Soup is GF and was amazing. I had a fish special that was even better! Can't wait to go back! The bakery next door have GF macrons, the raspberry flavor is amazing!

Celiac friendly

Amazing dinner...waiter was well versed in Celiac's and would defer to the chef who was able to tweak everything. I ordered the deviled eggs, marinated olives, steak Bouchan, and the mint lime sorbet. Best steak I have ever had. Did not worry about being sick at all. Woke up feeling great! A little wine hangover from all the tastings but not due to the food. Best way to spend a birthday dinner!

Bouchon is serious about serving the gluten-free, and this recent re-dedication to GF food makes for a memorable meal. In July of 2015, my dinner began with spectacular little GF fruit/nut wafers made in-house and served with butter (more, please! -- and yes, they brought me more) and fruits de mer, proceeded to a transporting cold melon soup, and then a main course of fabulous trout served with almonds and broccolini. This is beautiful food, and the improved attention to diners eating gluten free assures that I will be back just as soon as I make my way to Napa again.

Bouchon is up their with some if the best meals I've had in my life. I've been a few times and the service is good (however it's very French) and the food, portions and freshness are some of the best. No gluten free menu, but most items are gluten free. If you tell the hostess, their communication is so great that every server and busser that delivers something to your table makes sure it's gluten free and let's you know upon delivery. Salads, steaks, fish, appetizers, deserts are all phenomenal.
