Brio Tuscan Grille

I have been off of gluten for 8 years and only been glutened severely twice. This place was one of the two times. I got chicken with potatoes and vegetables and somehow had an allergic reaction. Avoid this place at all costs

They handed me a gluten free menu, but after ordering a chicken dish from this menu I got very sick. Won't chance it by returning.

Celiac friendly?

I would have given this restaurant 5 stars, but the last time I was there, they had changed GF pastas, and for the first time, I didn't like it. They have other great non-pasta GF options. You can read my full review here:

Got GF penne Brio. Found a piece of pasta in my dish that was not gluten free. That means they cross contaminated. Not good! Called Manager and he apologized and asked to bring me something else. I had to refuse. Sorry, can't trust them now.

Yummy GF Italian food. Pasta was cooked perfectly, have a couple different options, tasty! Will eat there again! Would recommend highly.

I worked here briefly. None of the "gluten free" options are safe. All of the "gluten free" pasta is cooked in the same water at the same time as the gluten pasta. The cook uses the same spatula all night on all dishes, so even the risotto is contaminated. There are no special protocols for gluten free meals at all, even if it is an allergy. Additionally, servers are supposed to know which items are gluten free/dairy free/peanut free and they just take a guess. I sent people away who asked for gluten free due to an allergy or Celiac because I knew nothing from the kitchen here was safe. As a Celicac, I never ate anything from the kitchen. The management will insist that their gluten free options are indeed gluten free because they don't know what gluten is. The grilled chicken is okay unless the grill cook uses the pasta spatula to flip it, which he often does. Even the strawberry salad uses contaminated candied pecans.
