Stopped here on the way to visit Mt. St. Helens. I was somewhat leery of the idea of fast food before spending the better part of the rest of the day in the car, but was very impressed by the staff's understanding of cross contamination. This was the first time I had eaten fast food fries in a year! Dedicated fryer (you'll want to confirm during your visit), and my burger was delivered in pieces for me to assemble, with the gluten free bun delivered - warmed - in its original factory sealed plastic wrap. The burger was really good. I wanted to try a shake, but I don't trust shake machines that are also used for cookie shakes. I wish there was a Burgerville closer to home!

The fries had their own fryer. The milkshakes are the best since they are made of real ice cream. The burgers are tiny and pricey for their size. We were craving burgers and then we got tiny pieces of burger. The gluten free bun came in a plastic bag that had not been opened and the bun wasn’t even on the burger! You go to a burger restaurant wanting a great burger and here you will be disappointed. I do like that they get local ingredients. I trust that it is celiac friendly. I don’t recommend going here for burgers, but if you happen to be near a Burgerville, definitely stop for a milkshake.

Cashier was actually celiac herself and very helpful. Staff was more than happy to change gloves, check ingredients etc. the lady informed us that they had a separate fryer but currently it was onion ring season and the oils often were contaminated. She recommended against ordering the fries. All in all food was as expected and the large fry was more like a med/small. Okay greasy food but celiac friendly.

The staff is very knowledgeable and have been there multiple times without issue. When requesting a gf bun they ask about sensitivity to ensure that they do not toast the bun and cause contamination, verse someone with a preference for gf. The burger comes disassembled with sealed condiment packets. Their fries are always cooked in a designated fryer.

We eat here regularly, and my celiac daughter has never gotten sick. Tell them you are celiac and they wash hands, change gloves and prepare your food separately. They offer a packaged gf bun, so no cc can happen. Fries are GF, and usually in a dedicated fryer, but always ask first! They are very knowledgeable. My kids love that they can get a “kids meal” with a toy or prize. Also, the food is delicious, and ethically sourced. My favorite fast food place, hands down!

Gf fries and can order a gf burger with bun sealed to prevent cross contamination but you get all the pieces in a cardboard box to put together yourself. The condiments (mayo and their special sauce) are weird. But I love their shakes and fries so I go for that alone.

1 star and only because they had gluten free buns. Staff was not good about being careful with cross contamination despite us telling them it was an allergy. Fries were not fully cooked. Patties were as thin as paper (literally) and the burger wasn’t even assembled. Would not recommend. You’re better off going to one of the little shops and getting some nuts or chocolate for that money.

I eat at their Corvallis loacation. Their black bean burger and gluten free bun are AMAZING. They have a celiac friendly option where they wont toast your bun with the reg bread and will keep it in a protective pouch for you. I havent had any problems so far and Im glad theres a drive through here that has safe GF options!

I have never had a issue with this Burgerville. I have a really severe case of Celiac and I tell them that I want my burger DISASSEMBLED and I get it that way.. Their fryer is NOT dedicated so your fries are not GF but if you want a salad that is safe.. and if you get your bun untoasted it comes warmed but still packaged, as their toaster is not GF. I always ask for their burger sauce and enjoy my burger.. ALL Burgervilles are willing to work with you IF you know how to order your meal.. no burgerville has a GF DEDICATED fryer and don't let anyone say that they do for they don't.. the burgers are safe, their salads are safe, their milkshakes are safe, their sundays are safe, their drinks are safe.. their FRIED food is NOT Celiac friendly..

GF buns, for the burgers and bean burger (also gluten free). Need to specifically tell them it is for an allergy. If you do not, as they did for me (mom of a celiac 6 year old daughter—I don’t have celiac, but I try to eat GF to support her) they will make the burger on the same line and with the same gloves and utensil as everything else (I was disappointed by that). I spoke up after watching the cross contamination. Was told by the manager that they have processes in place to make it celiac friendly if you say you have an allergy to gluten (I did not, I just asked at the register for info on the ingredients of the bean burger and for a GF bun). I loved the bean burger, even though it was contaminated for me.

The people were friendly and caring, and were accommodating. HOWEVER, the "dedicated" fryer is apparently sometimes used during busy times (lunch) for chicken tenders and onion rings. My wife and daughter were *very* disappointed that they couldn't have fries. As for the burgers, they were indeed put in a container without a bun (as if that were enough) but although they said they would change their gloves, it's not clear that the gluten-free burgers (my wife and daughter's) would be handled/cooked separately. (If they changed their gloves and then made/packaged my and my sons' burgers alongside and at the same time as the GF ones, the GF burgers wouldn't be GF. I'm not sure they understood that.) No issues yet (a couple hours later) but we won't be going back.

My fiancé has celiacs disease and it is always hard to find places that are good and have the ability to cater to her. The French Fries are cooked in a separate fryer than the breaded foods which is a plus and they even have gluten free buns. The only downfall of the gluten free buns is the inability to have them toasted because of the lack of multiple toasters, but they do provide lettuce wrapped burgers as an alternative.

I love burgerville. I have Celiac and have not had a problem. I let them know I have this allergy; I ask them to change gloves; a fresh cooked hamburger, not one sitting around that may have cc, and hamburger unassembled with gluten free bun heated up in sealed bag, NOT toastedd; french fries cooked fresh with no seasonings put directly into paper food tray, not put into the metal holding & seasoning area to prevent cross contamination. I ask for ketchup and burgerville spread. I don't eat any french fries during walla-walla onion ring season (sometime in July) because a manager told me it is a messy process using flour for the batter which gets everywhere and since the dedicated frier is close to the one used for flour items, I wait until the promotion ends and the friers are cleaned out. I would give 5 stars, but the online interactive allergy menu doesn't work - it will say the deserts, salad dressings that are gluten free, but doesn't list burgers, condiments, lettuce, fries from a dedicated frier, or even the gluten free buns they carry. I contacted BV & they are looking into it.

I'm both gluten and casein intolerant. We didn't have time to personally vet the place ahead of time, but other locations were ok per reviews. I told the man behind the counter, "I have several food allergies, May I please see your allergy menu or ingredients list?" He wanted to know what I'm allergic to then said he can put my burger on a GF bun. I replied that I have other allergies and not all GF buns are safe, and nicely asked to see the ingredient list for the buns. That's when the circus started. He told me he has a culinary arts degree, his mom has food intolerances, and it took me several more requests before someone produced the list...which he held in his hand and asked what ingredients I need to avoid. I was almost crying by this point. There were no other places in the area that were open and I was starving. When I asked for the manager, he said he was and finally let me look at the ingredients. It was such a negative experience that I wake up in the middle of the night still upset about it. I was polite the whole time and asked for the tools I needed but I keep trying to think of what I could have done differently.

So disappointed with gluten free burger. I ordered a classic burger and was pleasantly surprised when I was asked if it would be OK to toast the bun with other regular buns. (I said no, don't toast it at risk of cross-contamination.) I received a container with just a hamburger patty plus a bun in a sealed plastic bag. Then there was some ketchup packets and a container of their special spread (which is gluten free). Well, that was the driest burger I have ever eaten and I put all the stuff I got on it. Won't be doing that again. At least I'm not sick so that's worth something.

I've eaten here many times with no reaction. If you state it's for a gluten allergy they will change their gloves and clean the food prep area prior to making your order. I ask for a burger on a GF bun, unassembled & untoasted. If they toast the bun it's on the same grill as gluten buns. When I asked in the past, they have a dedicated fryer for fries.

It's a good place to eat if you are gluten intolerant. To be honest the gluten free bun they have isn't all that great. However it's a good place to eat when you are in a rush and need something gluten free. Just let them know that you are gluten free and they will do a good job of keeping it from getting cross contaminated. The fries are gluten free and not cooked with gluten foods.
