Fantastic meal!! I wish I had found this restaurant sooner, I would have visited more than once! Separate gluten free menu. Separate fryer. We had the firecracker shrimp to start, the breading was amazing!! For dinner I had the General Tso Bowl, I swapped the chicken for grilled salmon, delish!! And for dessert, the seven layer chocolate cake. So, so good!! I should have taken pics!! A must visit if you’re in Boca or nearby!

Fantastic restaurant with delicious food. Happened to find this place while randomly driving around through different towns along the coast and I'm definitely glad I did. This is a from scratch kitchen and their gluten free menu is extensive. It almost has everything the regular menu has. Was also told they have an entirely different kitchen space for gluten free food as well. Ended up trying a burger with fries and it was one of the top 3 best burgers I've ever had. Everyone else in my party raved about how good the food was as well.
Burton’s is one of my favorite chains for gluten free. The staff is so aware of allergies and cross contact and they are so accommodating. They can make just about everything gluten free; the gluten free menu is basically the same as the regular. The focaccia is delicious, and all their food is top notch. I cannot recommend this place enough!!
The GF menu is very large and diverse with a wide array of options. The GF bread and food was amazing and very different from most other GF offerings at other restaurants. We had wonderful service, the restaurant is clean and no issues from the food afterwards. You get what you pay for.
Separate GF menu with lots of options! I had the bread service appetizer and the chicken sandwich for my main. Everyone at the table shared the chocolate cake (and they said it was so delicious they never would have guessed it was gluten free). Can’t wait to go back and try more!
This was the first time in as long as I can remember that I was able to eat bread, an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert all at the same restaurant. The gf menu was the same size as the regular menu! The General Tso’s cauliflower was so crispy and good. The seven-layer chocolate cake was jaw-dropping and delicious. I’m sad that I was only in the area for vacation, but I’ll definitely come back! There is nothing like this where I live!
This is honestly one of the only places I order out anymore because of how strict they are with their gluten free meals and their packaging is awesome (uses a completely separate bag if you have an order with regular & gf food). I have not gotten sick from eating here so I think they are cautious of cross contamination as well. My only complaint is sometimes (mostly on weekends when it’s busy) the quality of some of the dishes can be off. Sometimes the pasta is overcooked and they don’t give enough sauce (or the sauce is very watery like soup). But I keep ordering because I feel safe eating there and sometimes you just don’t feel like cooking for yourself lol
We had an excellent meal for my son with many food allergies. They have very clear allergy protocols on their website and our server immediately asked if there were any allergies at our table. Allergy meals come out separately and on square plates. We felt very safe and it was a wonderful meal for a kid who rarely gets to eat out!
We just had the best experience here! We were busy all day and realized we almost missed closing time. We called and they said that we could come anyway. Kind staff from top to bottom and really yummy food. The best part is that 99% of their menu is gluten-free! We decided to do five different appetizers and they were all fantastic. My top two favs are the calamari and the firecracker shrimp. The service was top notch. This is a must if you are in Boca!
Food was good and marked gluten free on the menu. The door has a sticker says it is certified by GIG the Gluten Intolerance Group. One time my food was fine and I had no issues. But the second time I felt a bit off. So I suspect slight cross contamination the second time. So be aware and stress how careful they have to be.
Delicious place! Very safe and very knowledgeable about gluten allergies! Had a crispy fish sandwich with fries that was divine ! For dessert, a seven layers chocolate cake that was delicious. Our server Rachel was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and allergies at all. Loved it!
Burtons Grill is my favorite place. They have many options and they are scratch kitchen. I have never gotten sick from any of their food. They are very knowledgeable of all allergies and definitely worth the money for all options.. you can even get fried calamari gluten-free. This is hard to find anywhere. I would recommend Burton and have recommended Burton many times for anyone with celiac disease.
We have several Burtons in Massachusetts which we enjoy and trust. This FL location offered the same safe and delicious experience! Large GF menu, knowledgable staff, and many choices. Food was delicious as always. I felt as safe as I can in a non-dedicated GF restaurant. It definitely gets busy, so reservations are a good idea. Go and enjoy yourself!
They were very accommodating, the food was tasty, it was served separately and yet in conjunction with the other parties at our table. Our child is mostly asymptomatic but often gets a burning sensation in her stomach or a small - almost rash-breakout when she’s been gluten’ed. Her face seemed a little off but it could’ve been from something else. She had no stomachache. We’re from Canada where even gluten free oats are often discouraged…
Truly amazed at the high quality and delicious food while knowing that staff take dietary restrictions very seriously. A manager or leader will bring out your allergy safe meal on a square plate after checking it’s safe for eating. Burton’s is truly a go-to for me and I always have a great gluten free experience.
First time here and it’s totally a 10 star. The GF menu was extensive and made it so hard to choose . You know us Celiacs, we want it all if it’s GF. Well I settled on the appetizer crab cake because I wanted the cheesecake as well and boy were they both incredible. My husband and aunt absolutely loved their food as well. I only wish I lived in the area so I could go often. BTW it was also Valentine’s night and sometimes it’s a crap shoot when restaurants are so busy. Not this one. It was amazing.
This place was great. You can even check their website to see their allergen statement and how they do their process in the kitchen to keep the food safe. Server was very knowledgeable. We noticed the focaccia bread is a hit or miss, sometimes it’s very dry other times it’s great. We prefer to get the buffalo chicken dip or the artichoke and spinach dip as an appetizer, both are very good. The steak frites is really good as well as the chicken bleu. The ribs were just ok. Order the cake for very sweet but fun and it tastes good - it’s so big it’s good enough for 4 people.
Oh My - been here a dozen times, food is incredible!!! delicious, delicious. tried the lobster shrimp pasta. Wow!! incredible - only 2 items on regular menu not available- gluten free. Do Not Miss coming here!!!
Super extensive gluten free menu, in fact the waitress said ‘its pretty much the same as the regular menu’ and it was! The waitress Jillian was super attentive and seemed very knowledgable about being gluten free. I had the chicken risotto and gluten free focaccia and it was unreal!
This place is a must if you have Celiac. We were visiting family in Miami and made the drive for dinner. Did not disappoint! Our waitress has Celiac and recommended things off of the gf menu. Delicious gf bread at the table, and I had the fish sandwich with garlic mashed. Also had chocolate cake for dessert. It was so nice to eat out and know I was safe. They take Celiac very seriously. I will be back!
We have eaten here no less than 10 times and each time it’s gotten more and more dangerous for gluten allergies/ celiac. Last week, was served a dessert that was ordered as cheesecake. Arrived as Key Lime Pie and was piping hot. It had not been chilled and was gluten. The manager assured me it was not key lime but my husband said key lime so- who knows. This week, our server did not use the hand held device and chose to remember our 4 top order. I know the gf food comes on a square plate so when my food came was on a round plate and was a regular gluten bun I was in shock. Her attitude was abundantly clear she didn’t care so I spoke to the manager who was responsive and generous. However, bc I have been so many times I knew their protocol. If I had not, I would have been very sick. The food is good, but their servers education could use a touch up. Perhaps they management should deliver all gluten free meals. Be careful and don’t trust until you verify. Also the brunch donut holes are amazing!!
