This restaurant is pretty much overpriced Mexican food that is just ok. The chips and salsa were awesome, but the meal itself was just ok. I got chicken tacos, and the salsa/guacamole topping was fresh and delicious, but the chicken was overcooked and tough. The beans and rice were both so salty that they were inedible, and I like salty food. The servers won't try to prevent cross contamination unless you specify that you really need it.
Our waiter A. J. took time to ask kitchen staff about ingredients so I would not have a reaction. Yes, menu is meat heavy for Celiacs, which sucks for me as CD and a vegetarian, but the 1 vegetarian GF item, avocado and artichoke enchiladas, were o.k. The only GF enchilada sauce is the tomatillo sauce which is really sour. Tried a margarita. Bartender was really on his game and knew the triple sec was not GF. Tried the mango margarita anyway, but was disappointed as it was really bitter without the triple sec. Even the guacamole has too much lime juice making it sour too. I agree with previous posts that it is really expensive for what we get on the GF menu.
Gluten free clearly labeled been eating here for years. They also are knowledgeable on allergies and do not use latex gloves.
Expensive for the amount of gluten free options on the menu. Everything is marked on the menu but the only meat that is gluten free is the chicken. Chips & salsa are gluten free and delicious. I have Celiac Disease and enjoyed the food; just be wary of the cost.
Great food and atmosphere, not a ton of GF options but definitely enough to satisfy your needs.
I had the gluten free menu. told the wait staff three times I had celiacs. they asked me if any of the ingredients in my dish were gluten free or not.... as if I know what's in the sauces? the kitchen procedures for Gfree prep...? perhaps not suprising that I got sick before we even left the restaurant. had heard good things. dissappointing
I had appetizers and drinks here with no issues. Great patio and drink menu.
Had several GF choices on the menu. My wife really liked her choice. Only close call was, Chips and salsa at the table was very good, but had 2 choices. One wasn't GF, but we hadn't asked in time. The guacamole was also GF, made fresh at your table. Would definitely eat there again.

The fresh tortilla chips are NOT SAFE. Shared fryer. They were happy to bring me fresh soft tortilla shells instead. (Chips and Salsa are free as were my shells) They prepared my food in a separate location in the “back”. I enjoyed the chicken soft shell tacos and the guacamole is not to be missed! At least 6 GF options available. Alert your server to your GF status and you’ll be safely fed.
1st time in KOP, but have been to Syracuse twice and never disappointed. Started with the top shelf guacamole which is always A+, had the PESCADO aka Mahi-mahi tacos ....delicious!!!
Went to this restaurant after seeing the ratings & reviews in this app. No wait on a Friday evening, good service & quick drink refills. I asked if they had a separate gluten free menu (they don't), specifically asked for the dish I ordered to be gluten free (it was designated with the gray triangle too), and verified with the waiter when it was brought out that it was gluten free. Woke up Saturday, had explosive diarrhea all day, now it's Sunday afternoon and I'm still dealing with it. Totally ruined my weekend, haven't been able to leave the house. I do not recommend going here.
Although my waitress was not positive on a couple questions I had, she grabbed the manager without hesitation to answer my questions. The food was delicious and I had zero illness after visiting. Service was prompt even on a super busy sat night
Chef says chips are not cross contaminated and also brought corn tortillas to the table. Accommodated our kids with corn tortilla quesadillas and checked seasoning on refried beans. Guacamole and Queso are GF. One of our safe spots for sure. Our server was super attentive and concerned.
Had a lot of gluten free options which was very nice. But the waiter wasn’t very knowledgeable and the prices were more on the higher side.
The menu is marked but staff is not knowledgeable of gluten allergies. It’s the overall management of the servers that hurts them. One waiter takes your order but multiple others may bring your food out. They brought us flour tortillas 3 times after being specifically told corn only. The food was rather bland and service was terrible and slow. They also got our appetizer wrong twice.
Found this restaurant by happy accident. I had the Barbados and it was absolutely fantastic. Servers and manager were very helpful and knowledgeable about gluten free menu options.Top shel guacamole, made tableside, was unbelievably delicious. Highly recommended,
I know this place gets rave reviews on here & I must have caught them on an off day. Our food was overcooked and our veggies were flat out burnt on the fajita player. My daughter refused to eat her meal. The chips were a little greasy as well. Queso was good.
We’ve been a few times and have no complaints. The management always double checks any ingredients in question, the bartenders are super chill and nice, and the food is delicious.
Very GF and allergen knowledgable and friendly. If there's ever a question they get out "The Book" which has every menu item and any possible allergens.
I had delicious tacos that were marked as gluten free. I was a little disappointed that my old favorite dish (before I was diagnosed with Celiacs disease) was not marked as gluten free and the server said the chef didn’t know what had gluten in it so I couldn’t modify it. Service was slower than usual, but an overall good experience.
2nd visit in 6weeks. TOP SHELF GUACAMOLE is made table side and is unbelievable! Had the pescado (mahi-mahi) fish tacos that were recommended by waiter and they were fantastic. Also had the chipotle chicken fajitas with corn tortillas on 2nd visit and were amazing flavors!
We walked up & asked if any gluten free items on the menu & were told yes. The Executive Chef told us they have a dedicated fryer for the chips & even if not marked GF on menu they would work to make it GF for you. Loved the Taco’s & Barbacoa’s. We will come back.

We chose this restaurant to eat something before going to see a show. Nice location, friendly, helpful staff and acknowledge on what is being celiac. On the menu you will find a (G) for Gluten Free, wish we had time to try more. Probably will be back next time in the area.

Not many options, BUT they DO have gluten free meals on the menu! Recruited beans are also gf.
Separate GF menu, many choices. 5 stars for being knowledgeable and for convenient Soho location. 4 stars for food. It's good. Went with my daughter (a sensitive celiac) who didn't get sick. A block from the Palace Theater where Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is playing.
