This is one of my go to places. I have never gotten sick from them. Food is standard Italian restaurant fare. I get either the GF crab cakes or the GF chicken and shrimp Stephanie.

I have celiac disease and follow a strict GF diet. So, I called this restaurant a couple weeks before going to make sure their gluten free menu was actually gluten free and to make sure they had a separate prep space and there was no threat of cross contamination. The woman I spoke with was very knowledgeable and assured me they took it seriously. While dining there, I asked again about the separate prep space and made sure there was no chance of cross contamination. The server’s response was, “Yes, it’s gluten free.” The meal itself was delicious; however, shortly after my meal, I became very sick. I called the next day simply to let them know what happened because I didn’t want it to happen to someone else. The manager apologized and said that, unfortunately, not all of the staff are as careful/knowledgeable as he is when prepping GF meals. I never ever post negative reviews, but I do not want someone to think it’s a safe place to eat and have the same experience I did.

This was amazing! Food tasted sooo good and the menu was very broad for gluten free! I cannot wait to go back here!
So many gluten free options! Got the Chicken Saporito with gluten free pasta and it was DELICIOUS! Perfect size portion and the sauce was so creamy yet so light. Our waitress was so helpful and understood exactly what I needed. Even offered gluten free bread with or without garlic and oil!

I love this place ...do make your needs clear and they will take care of you
The problem is with the language skills of the waiters. We have been brought non gluten free bread on the gluten free pasta as well. I would proceed with caution.
I think that the negative reviews may have been written before Carlucci's had a dedicated gluten free menu. They have an extensive gluten free selection, including pasta and pizza!!! When I asked for sautéed broccoli rabe, the waiter notified me that I should get it steamed because the sautéing wouldn't be gluten free. A pleasure!! I have been aware of my celiac disease for 7 months now and every restaurant that is as careful as Carlucci's makes it so much better!

not very knowledgeable at all. just placed an order for gluten free meal and I was offered non gluten free soup, which I declined of course.I asked for a salad no croutons and oil and vinegar dressing, which they didn't have. Plus they didn't know or bother to check ingredients in other dresdings available. Don't waste your time or money here. could get sick.
It was over a year ago. Menu online was not same as in restaurant. Even after explaining to waitress and manager how sensitive my son was...salad was suppose to come from fresh lettuce, but it had a cruton in it. Manager had no understanding of what GF was.
I think it's great that they have a gluten free menu. I had the penne vodka and it was quite good. My 14 yr old daughter (just diagnosed with celiac disease) wanted to try the pizza. I thought it was good but she didn't like the crust. We'll be going again though because of the great GF choices they offer.
I appreciated the fact that this restaurant had gluten free pasta. However, the pasta itself was not good. The bread that they brought to the table (not that I could eat it) looked very unappetizing. I was really looking forward to finding a new go-to restaurant in my area. Guess I will have to keep looking.
Had a gluten free menu. Food was great
I am extremely sensitive to gluten and this is the second time I’ve been to this restaurant without ANY issue. Very knowledgeable about GF options and very accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Great food and celiac safe. There is a gluten free menu and many of the things on the regular menu can be made gluten free. We had questions about certain items. The owner actually came out to answer our questions and was very knowledgeable.
